well hi there

first off i just want to say thank you all so much for your support!! your love for darling and for wendy has warmed my heart and helped me gain some confidence in my writing. i can't put into words how much i appreciate every single one of you

it has been...quite some time now since i finished writing this story. in that time, i'd like to think i've grown as a writer, and i've had this idea for a little while now about maybe rewriting this story

everything would (probably) stay mostly the same, with some minor changes. the reason i'm telling you this is because i want to ask you all this:

if you could change anything about darling, what would you change?

i want y'all to be brutally honest w/ me. is there smth that makes no sense to you? is there a scene you'd like to see? any characters that didn't interact that you think should?

as of right now, the main changes i'm planning on making are:

- making midtown a normal high school

- wendy's name (dropping the greene bc it's clunky)

- how wendy starts off as a character

- adding and subtracting things to make this fit better into the grand plan of the mcu (endgame, ffh, and fatws really threw me for a loop)

admittedly there is a part of me that is considering diverging from mcu canon and maybe ending wendy's story a bit sooner than i originally planned, but i haven't decided yet

pls let me know what you guys think!! do you think a rewrite is even necessary? depending on the interest in this, i might not even do it, so if this is smth you really want, leave a comment saying so!!

in the meantime, i have another peter parker fic up called momentum, a crossover pjo/hp fic called hard times, a pjo fic called heavy bones, and another pjo fic called undoing, as well as a disney's descendants fic called pecan pie. if you like this story, i highly recommend checking those out
