"What do you need?" Taehyung asked, not even sparing her a glance as he continued to pack a duffle with any equipment they might need.
Why was he acting like this.
What did she do wrong.
Whatever it was she needed to make things right again because with them at odds she felt completely lost, exposed and vulnerable.
"Is it because you think I was dishonest with you?" She finally speaks, hating the way her voice breaks at the end and hoping he doesn't notice.
"Partly." Taehyung still doesn't look at her even as she takes a small step over the threshold, just continues to arrange things in his bag as if her presence there means little to him.
"I can understand that but I promise you I didn't know I could do that, I'm just as confused as you are." She shuffles on her feet, fingers nervously pulling at the material of her shirt as she watches him move towards a desk on the far side of the room.
Why doesn'thestop.
Why doesn't he look at her.
"We'll soon find out exactly what you are and why this is happening, until then we need to formulate a plan of action and leave the bunker as soon as possible to avoid the possibility of anyone else getting hurt."
Y/N has never seen this side of Taehyung before, this part of him was cold and clinical and if she was completely truthful with herself it scared her. Taehyung has always been on her side from the very beginning, always warm and protective and the sudden switch has left her reeling and at a total loss for what to do or say next.
"If that's all you wanted to say you can leave now, I need to finish packing then I need to speak with Namjoon about what move we make next."
"Taehyung please don't do this, everyone else either doesn't like or trust me besides you and Jungkook and I'm sorry about all of this....truly sorry but you have to believe me when I say that I had no idea I could do any of that. I'm just as freaked out and surprised as the rest of you, I want to know the truth too but please don't doubt me....don't shut me out because that's not fair."
"You want to know what's not fair?!" Taehyung yells, eyes narrowing as they finally focus on Y/N. "What's not fair is that Jin is locked away in a cell because of you, what's not fair is that ever since you arrived this entire team has started to fall apart! Jimin was right, he has been since the very start! He was the one who kept warning us, begging us to see sense and instead of listening to him....instead of listening to my friend and teammate I got ensnared by you! I allowed myself to be bewitched but I'm sure as hell not going to allow that to happen anymore. I refuse to act on this ridiculous pull towards you I seem to constantly feel, I'm keeping my distance and I'm going to find out a way to stop it before you end up getting me locked away in a cell too."
