He went back to training. They treated him the same as before. Maybe even more open now that he knew the plan and was on board.
George was a little nervous around Grian, but he apologized and swore to never hurt him again. George trusted him; he felt guilty for the pain he caused him when Grian was just trying to get him away from Dream.
A6d also apologized for sniping him with the paralyzer dart, George forgave him since it also stopped Dream from taking him.

George still hadn't unlocked any superpowers, but he kept practicing and fighting Bad and Technoblade, who he had started to call Techno.

Skeppy was focusing on a few lightning bolts during practice and then put to work healing bruises and scrapes after training. He gradually stopped falling asleep after that.
George wondered if he would pass out from exhaustion after exploding in whatever power blast Techno was talking about.
Grian was still working on endurance and talking to two people at once mentally. Now he could hold on to Bad and make his arm invisible.

George fought against Skeppy and won a couple times. He and Techno fought Skeppy and Bad; that was entertaining and painful.
Then George and Skeppy fought alongside Grian to subdue Technoblade and Bad. They lost spectacularly, but Grian held out the longest and impressed George with his skills.

They got new targets and practice mannequins since apparently Techno was very rich and this was his reformed summer house or something.

George actually shot a target 50 meters away with a6d's help. That was cool.
Skeppy figured out how to fuse lightning into swords and basically create temporary lightsabers, so that was epic.
Grian made Bad totally invisible and they both tripped a6d as he was carrying a bunch of ammo, which spilled everywhere.

George finally won a fistfight against Bad, although Bad insisted it was just lucky chance.
George couldn't believe it. He never thought that was possible. Techno clapped for him.

George then fought Techno and was ground into the dirt.
(Dirt metaphorically being the sparring mats as he was thrashed around and thrown into them.)

Techno spent extra time with George to resolve whatever was blocking him, but George still never felt anything special under his skin.
It was after one of these overtime practices that they walked back for dinner to find a surprise.

George had just spent 30 minutes shouting and waving his arms at mannequins with rubber guns. Techno soothed some of his frustration, but George just pushed it down and wanted to eat.
They heard shouting as they got closer to the kitchen and Techno immediately broke into a sprint, with George following close behind.

They found Grian happily whooping with his shoes several feet above the floor. He was holding on to a6d, who was floating with his head bumping against the ceiling.
Skeppy was worriedly holding a ladder with Bad on it; Bad was poking a6d with a broom.

Techno halted and George ran into him like a wall, almost falling backwards.
Techno caught him and they both stared upwards in confusion as the other four noticed they were there.

"GUYS!!! GUYS!!" Grian's eyes lit up. He was cheerfully swinging with his arms around a6d's waist. "CHECK IT OUT!! A6d can fly!"

A6d exclaimed "Ow!" as he hit his head on the ceiling again. His hair and clothes were drifting around him like he was underwater. "Yeah, I can't- can't really get down. Or control where I'm going, so..."

"Wheeeeee!!" Grian swung his legs back and forth like a6d was just a swing. "This is so cool, a6d!"

"Yeah you're one of us now!" Skeppy's eyes lit up and Bad jolted. "OW you shocked me!"
"Sorry, sorry." Skeppy turned red.
