*Xylo's pov*

Oh course he would be here, he's the son of Aphrodite. I had read that Aphrodite had a summer home but still this close to camp a place that's Aphrodite's it's only natural that Bryan would be staying here.

I landed and got off shadow and put him back into has amulet. I was about to walk in but I got flower bombed. I coughed as I heard the laugher of someone

"Hey!" I yelled

"Oh? Your not Bryan? Hmmm who are you?" The person in a jester outfit said

"I'll have you know I'm Xylo the son of Hades." I said trying to get some of the flower off me to no or little progress.

"Oh your from that camp! Camp Oasis, wait. What business do you have here?" The man said now very serious.

"I'm here to speak to Bryan" I said and the jester pulled out a piece of paper and looked at it.

"Sorry no can do from what I've noted your one of three people that hate Bryan at the moment and he doesn't wish to see." The jester said

"Let me guess the other two are Kay and Mario. Ok that was a year ago I only want to speak to Bryan I'm not mad I have had a full year to think about things so please let me see him." I said and the jester gave me a raised eye brow.

"Fine just know if you hurt him in any way. I won't hesitate to harm you. I know I'm not strong enough to kill you but if harming you is what I can do I'll do it." The jester said

"Sounds fair." I said

"Bryan should be in the kitchen. I'm assuming you followed him so that probably means he's home." The jester said walking away

"Umm can I get your name?" I asked

"It's Jyles darling don't forget." Jyles said before he floated away

"Jyles, ok...." I said before walking into the estate.

I walked around before finding the kitchen and like Jyles said Bryan was in there.

"Hello Bryan"

*Bryan's pov*

I was in the kitchen I had just finished feeding Helios and I was going to get food for myself but stopped when I heard my name.

"Hello Bryan"

I know that voice. I would know it anywhere. Xylo, but how did he find me? Wait he must have followed me I wasn't paying enough attention and he much have followed me.

I turned around and held a laugh as I looked at Xylo. He look older and had grown a beard and looked like he had been beaten up but I couldn't help it because he very clearly met Jyles who must have flower bombed I'm in the face.

"This isn't funny Bryan and next time please tell Jyles to make sure that he knows who he's throwing things at." Xylo said and I took a deep breath

"Y-ya...just get to the point Xylo why are you here I thought you hated me." I said looking at him

Xylo shook a bit more flower off before looking at me again.

"I'm slightly mad but not as mad as last year. Now I've come here because I want to know something." Xylo said

"What?" I said

"Would you like to spend an entire year in the underworld fighting?" Xylo said his tone clearly changing.

"W-what?" I asked before stepping back

"Tell me did you. Enjoy the things you did last year? You seem pretty comfortable with yourself right now." Xylo said clearly very much angry at me.

"I'm not! Xylo wait please I can explain!" I said as Xylo got closer to me grabbing my tunic.

"How about you explain in the underworld." Xylo said and before I know it I was in the underworld.

I looked around at the area like stadium and Xylo stood there watching. I watched as Giant bugs came after me. I ran to a wall and stayed close to the all. One of the bugs was about to grab me but then my arm swung at it hitting it away.

I looked at my arm for a bit. I heard Xylo saying something and I started walking to the center but before I could talk back to him I felt something.

I looked down to see the old me. I was shocked but considering that Xylo was just trying to prove some kind of point I looked up at him. I was scared for what I was about to do but I smiled and looked at old me before taking a step forward.

The arm with the rose bracelet on it moved again and I touched the rose me and it disappeared. I found myself back in my home with Xylo looking at me shocked.

"You-" Xylo started but I spoke first.

"I'm sorry for the things I did under the Roses control." I said

"...sorry I did that." Xylo said looking away

I looked at him before I grabbed him and shoved him into the water. He came up and yelled at me

"Hey what was that for!" He yelled

"Sorry couldn't take you seriously with the flower on you." I said and Xylo got out of the water.

"Bryan sorry for taking out that anger like that." Xylo said

"It's fine I'm sorry for everything else." I said

"...you still coming back to camp?" Xylo asked

"I'm going to be honest I....I don't think I am I might visit but for everyone's safety I'm probably not coming back." I said

"What do you mean?" Xylo asked

"Xylo, the Rose isn't dead. It's never been fully dead ever since Mario broke it last year." I said

"What's that supposed to mean?" Xylo asked

"You need to leave." I said

"Bryan tell me what do you mean by the Rose has never been dead?" Xylo said

"Xylo! Leave now please!" I yelled holding my arm turning away from him.

"...fine but I expect an explanation at some point." Xylo said and I heard his footsteps leave.

"I'm sorry I can't explain. I don't want the risk endangering you..." I said

I looked up and saw Jyles. "You know seeing the interaction he probably would have been really understanding."

"I know, but I shouldn't really be making anymore attachments not with the Seductive Rose at risk." I said

Jyles sighed "come on pretty boy how about you go take a bath or something. I'll be in the garden."

I looked up and nodded. This is going to be a long summer.
