Across town...

Izuku Midoriya walked home with his small group of friends.

"We should go to the arcade today!"

"Maybe a movie?"

Midoriya blushed as he rubbed the nape of his neck "actually guys, I've got a lot of studying to catch up on." His friends groaned.

"How is it that you always have to catch up but studying is all you do?"

Before Izuku could give a rebuttal there was a gurgling sound coming from the vent below them. As the students looked down in a frightened state of confusion the same sludge villain that had attacked Bakugou sprung from the sewer and wrapped himself around Izuku's body.

The other middle school boys stepped back in horror.

"Let's run for it."

"Yeah Midoriya's got this!" The boys felt less guilty about leaving their friend as they noticed a crowd of people already surrounding the scene.

"Quick someone call the pros!"

"There's a villain on the loose!"

"He's got a child in there!"

In a panic, Izuku puffed out a large breath of fire, attempting to free himself from his capture. His attempts fell short as the sludge villain was not melting, and Midoriya's quirk had caused a ring of blazing fire to spread around them.
