For the next year, the desk next to you sits empty. You talk more and are more social with your coworkers, but you know the piece that's missing....Jack.

You walk in from getting lunch with Benson. As you walk to your desk, Rollins calls to you and Benson, "Y/N, Liv. You have a visitor in your office."

You and Liv exchange a look and enter her office to a familiar face sitting atop of her desk.

"Did you bring me lunch?" Tony hops off.

"There are chairs in here," Liv nods her head at the two chairs right in front of him.

"And?" Tony folds his arms across his chest.

"Always a pleasure, Tony," Liv gives Tony a smile and then a hug, while you shake your head at their interaction.

"There's my favorite photographer!" Tony then turns to you and embraces you in a hug.

"Hey, Tony," you hug him back as well. Your aunt, Pepper, and Liv are childhood friends. You're about 10 years younger than them. Since you were close with the three of them, you became close with Tony as well when he entered Pepper's life. They're all like the sisters and brother you never had.

"What can we do for you, Tony?" Benson asks taking a seat behind her desk.

"I would actually like to borrow Y/N for some of her photography skills," he puts an arm over your shoulders.

"Has your compound finally become a crime scene?" you smirk removing his hand.

"Oh, so you've got jokes now? No, I actually need photos of my lab and suits," he rolls his eyes putting his arm back.

"I shoot crime scenes, Tony. I doubt I'm the person you're looking for," you turn to Tony.

"I've see your freelance work. You're amazing, so stop it. See you tomorrow at noon," he says as he walks towards the door.

"Hang on, I never said yes!" you call after him.

"Noon tomorrow! Love you, Y/N!" Tony calls from a few steps out the door already.

"Sounds like you'll be having a lot of fun," Benson smirks from behind her desk.

You shoot her a glare, but then you both break down in laughter.

The next day, you arrive at Stark Tower. 

Before you're even 5 steps off of the elevator, "Ah, there you are!" Tony says pouring himself a drink. 

"Did I have a choice in the matter?" you laugh greeting Tony with a hug and a sip of his drink.

"Hey!" he pouts, but you just shrug your shoulders. "No you did not, but I brought 2 people you may want to see...." he points at the doorway.

Pepper and Nat enter with huge smiles on their faces. Nat, Steve, Bruce, and Clint are the Avengers you've met over the years. You've come to the tower many times, but you mostly meet them for lunch.

"Hey girl!" Nat says giving you a hug, Pepper doing the same.

You look back at Tony, "You're off the hook for now, Stark."

Tony raises his glass to you, "I'll be back on there in no time. Now, let's go get these photos done. You can catch-up over dinner later, which you're staying for. No arguments."

"Deal." You and Tony spend the better part of 2 hours taking photos in the lab. 

"Bathroom break, Stark," you say letting your camera dangle around your neck.

"Up the stairs, 3rd door on your left," Tony points as he types away on one of his machines.

"All of this, and you don't have one in the lab?!" you begin your walk to the exit.

"Don't even get me started. I've been telling him that for years," Bruce looks up from his work.

You turn before completely exiting, "I'll just talk to Pepper about it," you wink.

Tony's head shoots up, "No, no, no. I'll work on a blueprint for it this week."

When you're leaving the bathroom, you hit someone when opening the door, "Shit, sorry!"

"All good, doll. This arm is pretty indestructible," a man says tapping his metal left arm. 

"Well, sorry anyway. Maybe I'll hit you harder next time," you shut the bathroom door.

"Feel free. I'm Bucky," he extends his other hand.

"Y/N," you shake his hand.

"Where are you headed now?" Bucky questions.

"Main room. I just finished taking photos of the lab for Tony," you start walking down the hall.

"I may be new here, but pretty sure the main room is this way," he points in the other direction.

"I 100% knew that. I'm actually here to give you your tower layout test," you hide your laugh.

"Whatever you say, dollface," Bucky starts walking next to you.

When you both enter the main room, Steve greets you, "Y/N! I see you've met Bucky."

You hug him and Clint, "Met him, hit him with a door. Same thing really." You laugh and take a seat next to Nat.

"Y/N, I will also need photos of the team and their suits in detail. Same time next week," Tony says walking by to another one of the couches next to Pepper.

"Guess I should be thankful for a week's notice this time?" you raise your eyebrows at Tony.

"I however, would like to see you before then," Bucky says sitting next to you.

"Maybe I could hit you with a car door this time?" you turn to him.

"Deal," He lightly smiles.

The chatter in the room is silenced by the elevator ping.

"Hey! We didn't know you guys were returning today!" Nat stands and walks over to the pair.

Thor and Loki step into the room, Loki's eyes going wide as they land on you.
