Author's Note: Going to update this story at least once a week here forward. Apologies for my recent lack of chapters.

"ENOUGH!" Odin slams his scepter onto the floor of the throne room, which sends a surge of energy to you, knocking you off of your feet, sliding 20 feet back into the door.

The wind is knocked completely out of you. You're not really sure what had happened, but you feel yourself slide across the floor and slam into the door. There was a snap, which sounded like bone breaking, so you're just hoping for the best.

You hear Thor and Loki both yell your name, and Loki rushes to your side. He kneels down next to you, "Y/N! Hey, hey. Look at me."

Loki helps you to a sitting position, but you have to hold your left arm, which you're unable to move.

Thor stayed at the throne with Odin, "Y/N is of Midgard, Father!" Thor turns to you and Lok, "Loki?" He asks making sure you're alright.

Loki nods to Thor indicating that you're ok.

"Y/N is fine. You said they are of the Avengers," Odin says with no care for your well-being.

Thor clenches his jaw, "FRIENDS of them. Y/N is not...you could have KILLED them!"

"Human?!" Odin steps back in surprise.

"Yes, father. Excuse me," Thor makes his way to you and Loki.

Loki's still at your side, "Come, love. Up." He helps you to your feet, as Thor gets to the other side of you.

"Useless. Human," Odin says with a smile on his face. "By all means, attend with Loki. You are his equal," he says louder.

You take two strained steps forward.

"Y/N, don't," Thor says putting a hand on your shoulder.

You stop, but raise your voice for Odin to hear you, "You may be all high and mighty up there on your throne, but Loki is TWICE the man you will ever be, in power and heart."

"You need to be out of my sight before you are no longer welcome," Odin states.

Loki takes your back with his arm, "Come. It's alright."

"We will bring you to the guest chambers," Thor gets the door, while you lean on Loki for extra support.

"No. We will be sharing mine," Loki clarifies as you start down the hallway.

The walk to Loki's room feels longer than it really is, and there's no conversation.

Thor leaves you at Loki's door, and you're led to sit on a small couch near a bookshelf. "This room is very you," you say looking around.

Loki ignores your comment, and just sits next to you, examining your arm, "You were a fool in there."

'I don't care who he is, King or not, his remarks were not ok, Loki," you say in frustration.

"As much as I agree with you, what if you were hurt worse....or ki..." Loki's voice trails off when he stands, running his hand through his hair.

"Loki, I'm sorry, I...."

"You were not thinking!" Loki's voice gets louder. "I cannot...if something would have happened to you, I...I wouldn't be able...."

You hear the pain in Loki's tone, and all you can do is stand to take his hand in your non-hurt hand.

Loki starts playing with your fingers, until you wince, having to pull your hand back to support your hurt arm once more.

Loki's eyes dart to your arm, "It's broken."

"Yea. It feels like it," you wince again. "Is there a hospital or medical wing here?"

"There is, but I can...." Loki slowly raises his gaze to yours.

You nod, "Whatever you can do, go for it." You pause. "I trust you."

Loki sighs and lifts a hand to your cheek, "You are either very foolish for trusting me, or..."

You laugh, "Or very much in love."

"Perhaps it's both," Loki looks down at your wrist. "This is going to hurt more than the slash last time."

"Ok."

"It's a bone break, so it'll take longer and...." His hand is carefully moving on your wrist.

"Loki," you now put your hand on his cheek. "I'll be ok."

Loki's hand moves to your arm, and it goes cold, down to your bones. You feel them begin to heal, which causes a shooting pain to your shoulder.

It lasts about 2 minutes, before dissipating. Finally, Loki slowly moves his arm away from yours, "Try moving it. Slowly," he instructs.

As you do, it has healed completely and just feels a little stiff, "Not bad, Doctor Mischief."

Loki shows a small smile before turning serious again, "I want to kill Odin."

You stand, "Well, get in line, because I call first dibs. I can take him."

"Of course you can, love," Loki says walking to you.

"I don't even need to see your face to know you're trying to be funny," you turn around to him.

"I am the God of Mischief; it is in the definition," he makes a dictionary appear. "Here. See?" He holds it out to you.

You flip it to the word 'annoying', "Oh look! Here's your name, right next to this word." You hold it to Loki, pointing at the word.

Loki takes the book and tosses it behind him, "I would tell you to look up the word 'ravish', but..."

Loki pins you to the wall and kisses you, "I think we would both prefer the visual demonstration instead."

You smile, before you both crash your lips together once more.
