phew! after hours of preparing for this camp that's probably not going to be that important im finally done! its a little pathetic that the only reason im hyperfixated on this camping trip is because i have nothing else to focus on

on the bus ~

"ok.. this seems like a good place to sit" i think as i sit on one of the cold seats on the bus near the window

kaidou and his friend aren walked in after a few minutes so i was expecting them to sit together but to my surprise aren noticed i was sitting alone with the coldest seat on the bus and decided to sit beside me

"noone's sitting here right?" he says putting his stuff down beside me

"AREN WHO AM I GOING TO SIT WITH" i can see kaidou scrunching up his eyebrows

"noone now move along he's only sitting here because its cold" i say to him with a straight face and plug in my earphones

"hey just so you know thats not why i sat with y- WAIT ARE YOU LISTENING TO RADIOHEAD" aren says while he unplugs one of my earphones

"YEAH i usually listen to more calming music when the weather is like this but it seemed like a " Electioneering " kind of day so yup"

"thats cool kaidou is a huge fan of radiohead too"

my smile instantly dropped and i plugged my earphones back in my ears once again muttering "aish i hate that dude" to aren completely unaware of whos sitting in front of us

this trip is starting out a whole lot different than what i thought it would be

kaidous pov :

ugh aren sold me out for some girl wait.. shit thats the girl that fell because of my foot once ah and im sitting with saiki infront of her

i wonder what they're talking about if i just..

kaidou slowly puts his ear on the seat to eavesdrop on aren and y/n's conversation as saiki ignores him

"mhm.. RADIOHEAD?? SHE LISTENS TO RADIOHEAD?? ok she might be kind of a loser but atleast she has good taste oh shit aren just said my name"

i push my ear harder into the seat to hear what they're saying only having to hear the words

"i hate that dude"

i kind of expected it since im kind of an asshole to her but for some reason i feel bad now i mean i should've earlier but why now

we managed to arrive at the destination around 11:30

aren and y/n didn't talk much so i didn't feel the need to eavesdrop after hearing what i heard before

reader pov :

that was a weird trip but atleast we're here!

i breathe in the air and follow the rest of my classmates to the hotel

y/n "so aren are these camping trips like yearly?"
aren : "yeah kinda but its not really much of a camping trip rather than a bunch of kids sleeping in a hotel"
y/n : "im kinda excited tho do we do any activites before we do the sleeping part of the trip??"
aren : "we.. roam around the place and eventually wait for the sun to go down then sleep"

to be honest..aren was the only student that has talked to me since i moved here.

"oh" was the last word that escaped out of my mouth before kaidou came in trying to put his shoulder over aren with the help of nendou which made me giggle a little bit

"so you're just going to leave me???" i scream out to aren who's already 3 feet away

"yeah im sorry dude we'll see each other at lunch see ya" aren says
