After lunch, no one really spoke and Angelo didn't show up shocking I know, so we all basically went our separate ways for the rest of the day.
Except for Me, Mia, Kate, and the kids we instead all went to the downstairs movie theater to watch the newest Disney movie zootopia by we I mean the kids.
They were enjoying it, while me and the girls whispered trying not to ruin it for them.
"So what happened earlier today? I thought you and my brother were hitting it off" Kate was first to break the silence. I was really trying to not think about the events that happened in the past twenty-four hours but Kate deserved to know after all she is like my little sister and Angelo's actual sister.
"Well apparently not, he um ended things last night after shortly talked" I briefly said referring to when Angelo supposedly 'surprised' me with Kate.
"That can't be true, I mean he loves you" she says shaking her head in denial.
"Well by the looks of what went down this morning I think he doesn't" Mia scoffed.
"Je vais assassiner mon idiot de frère un jour je le jure" Kate mutters to herself in french but loud enough for me and Mia to catch on, while also forgetting that me and Mia both understood french because Mia then nodded her head agreeing with Kate's statement. (I'm gonna murder, my idiot brother, one day I swear)
"Moi aussi" she spoke. (me too)
"You both will do no such thing even though he is a jerk doesn't mean Sofia should be fatherless, and especially you Mia nineteen weeks pregnant and your still fighting people that's unsafe for my little nipote your carrying your lucky we even let you go that long" I reason with them like do with Sofia. (niece)
"But" they both pout like little kids.
"No buts end of conversation Angelo stays even though he doesn't deserve to"
"Fine" they both sigh.
"Let's talk about something else" I suggested because all the Angelo talk isn't helping me and there are thirty minutes left of the movie.
"Ooo the annual mafia ball is coming up" Kate excitedly claps.
The mafia ball was a big event hosted every three years by different gang leaders, this event gives us members a chance to show off and to make new alliances of course but mostly to show off. This year the Spanish mob was in charge of hosting the event which was exciting because they always throw the grandest parties.
"Ah yes I forgot about that are you bringing anyone, Kate?" Mia asked, I always loved these types of events the dressing up part and the food.
"Maybe she'll bring that cute guy she was talking to at the gender reveal" I teased nudging her arm.
"Maybe. we'll see" she shrugs while her cheeks were a crimson red from the teasing.
After talking about the ball and the preparations we have to do, Kate came up with an outrageous plan.
"Oh my god. We have to give you a makeover, not saying that your not pretty now Bianca but we have to show my brother what he's missing out on" Kate squealed. Holy shit this girl has a lot of energy and a big imagination.
"You Kate are a fucking genius" Mia squeals too.
"Mommy, Zia Kate"
"Zia Kate, Zia Mia"
"Shhh, we are trying to watch a movie here" both kids groan looking back at us for a brief second before turning back to the big projector screen.
"Sorry" they apologize to the little kiddos as we all try to hide our little smirks.
"Those two what are we going to do with them B" Mia giggles before continuing "anyways I say a dress that hugs your body what do you think Kate?"
"I love that idea we need to have my brother crawling back to her" Kate whispers afraid of getting yelled at by the kids again.
"You both come up with the craziest ideas" I chuckle as I listen to the suggestions they're throwing at each other.
"Shut up and let us help you," Mia says smiling at me.
