It's the night of the ball and the girls haven't stopped talking about it all morning including my mom. There we lots of meetings and preparations.

The house was full of maids running around with dresses, suits, jewelry, etc. helping us get ready for the big night.

I was currently fixing my hair when someone knocked on my door.

"Come in" I yelled to the person or well people on the other side because once those words left my mouth my door immediately flung open revealing Mia and Sofia.

"Wow mommy you wook like a princess" Sofia awed running over to me.

"She's right B you look stunning" Mia nodded.

"Thank you both!" I smiled back at her then kissing Sofi on the cheek.

"Wow, Bianca if my brother doesn't come back to you tonight then he must be an idiot" Kate's voice peeps through a minute after they entered.

"Agree to disagree he's still an idiot either way" Mia retorts.

"Yeah, yeah I can't really help my brother with that"

"But enough about him B have you found an escort yet?" Mis asked changing the subject.

"Yeah, I did actually" I answered looking at Sofia who was quietly playing with my charm bracelet that Luca had gotten me for Christmas one year.

"And who might that be?" Kate asked raising a brow.

"JJ"

"No. Way. He dropped his one of whores tonight to escort you?!?" They both gasp in shock.

Which wasn't surprising because JJ was known to be the player in the family, I'm talking new girls every week. And being seen without one of them attached to his hip was a rare occasion.

"Yup and it was his idea too"

"Are we talking about the same JJ here? I mean tall, blonde, tattoos, new girls every week, parties every night?" Mia asked.

"Yes the same JJ l" I assured. 

You see JJ loves helping family out that was one of the reasons why he agreed to watch Sofia that one night I went out with Angelo plus a couple more.

But that wasn't the surprising part.

The surprising part was that he offered to go to the ball willingly. Why is that surprising you ask? Well JJ isn't one for fancy parties where there is classy violin music playing and other rich people judging you, he would much rather be at a nightclub where there's loud music playing and girls dancing.

"Wow I never would have thought"

"Me neither but enough about all of this escort stuff how are feeling Bianca?" Kate asked sitting down on the couch closer to me.

"If I'm being honest I'm kind of nervous" I admitted.

I don't know why I would be though Ivan wouldn't be there no one in the mafia world likes him and practically everyone knows I'm still alive because of the attack he had on us.

"B you have nothing to be nervous about we're all here for you and I hate to say it but even Angelo you'll be fine" Mia promised offering me a smile.

We were all deep in conversation talking about the things that have been going on in the gang and it turns out the guard Kate has been talking to asked to be her escort for tonight.
