"I can't believe we're actually doing this, hm."
"Ah, don't be such a grouch, Deidara! Who knows? Maybe you'll meet a cute girl!"
"Ooooh, I'll help!" I chime in, grinning as I sling an arm around both Deidara and Tobi.
"Shut it, Tobi! Look what you started," Deidara snaps, clearly irritated.
The six of us were making our way toward U.A. in our street clothes, blending in with the other exam participants. Deidara wore a black jacket over a sleeveless, cropped V-neck shirt with mesh armor underneath, paired with gray pants and sneakers. Tobi sported a black hoodie, black jeans, and sneakers, his ever-present mask concealing his face. Sasori opted for a green shirt layered under a black jacket, along with blue jeans and some pair of black shoes. Kisame wore a white tank top, blue jeans, and black boots. Itachi, ever the perfectionist, looked the most polished—his crisp button-up was loosely unbuttoned at the collar and neatly tucked into his suit pants, complemented by dress shoes. Meanwhile, I wore a black pleated skirt, a cozy knit sweater, and Mary Jane shoes.
Itachi carried a bag with the outfits we'd be changing into before the exam, ensuring we had appropriate clothing for the occasion.
"So, remind me again why we're even taking this stupid entrance exam?" Deidara grumbled, running a hand through his hair.
"It determines what class you'll be placed in," I explained, continuing to walk at a steady pace. "You need to rack up enough points to make it into the hero course. If you don't, you'll be thrown into general studies."
"Interesting," Kisame mused, casting a curious glance in my direction. "And where exactly did you get this information?"
I smirked. "It's called using your phone, duh, grandpa."
