Just a Couple of S Teir Legends (Fuse X Horizon)

Fuse walked off the drop ship and looked for Horizon.
Them and Valkyrie had placed 4th in the last game, but Fuse wasn't worried about their placement in the match.

Horizon was silent since Hammond Labs which caused a miscommunication and the trio getting 4th place.

"Where the hell did she go?" Fuse muttered to himself.

Fuse walked up to Wattson to ask her.
"Hey there sparky."

"Hello Mr.Fitzroy." She said

"Do ya know where Dr. Sommers went?"

"I don't know where she went, but she left at a rather brisk pace." She replied

Fuse looked everywhere for her.
He checked the bar
The firing range
And he asked the other legends, but none of them knew where she was either.

The final place Fuse looked was her lab.
(Which admittedly should have been the first place to look, but let's just pretend he's dumb like that.)

He knocked on the door
It took a while, but Horizon finally answered it.

"Uh hey Horizon." Said Fuse

"Hello Fuse." Horizon said quietly

"You kinda had me worried with the whole silence thing, ya doing alright?" Fuse asked

Horizon didn't respond

"Listen, I'm really sorry if I did anything to hurt yer feelings." Fuse started

Horizon felt her throat get dry
"I can't be with you."

Fuse was shocked, "W-what do you mean by that?"

"I mean in general. I don't know if you were trying to flirt with me, or if your just being friendly,but I can't be friends with you, I can't with any of you." She said

Fuse didn't know what to say.

"I-I'm sorry..." He tried to say

"It's not your fault dearie," Horizon said, "It's not ANY of your GUY'S fault. It's what I have to do."

"Mary..." Fuse started

But Horizon cut him off, "I'm sorry."
She said than closed the door on him.

With nothing left to say Fuse just left.
