you sighed for probably the sixth time in the last five minutes the honking of the cars slowly giving you a headache, the whole week had been so stressful and exhausting for you the only thing you wanted to do snuggle into your boyfriend's chest
the standstill traffic finally started moving as you drove to your apartment.
on entering your apartment you were greeted by Seungmin's back turned against you as he strummed a few chords and vocalised
"Hey" you softly greeted
turning around form his initial position he gave you a small smile, extending his arm signalling you to get closer. As you reach near the couch, he pulls you towards him making you land on his lap. you let out a small gasp as he repositioned you in between him and the guitar, mumbling a small hey before snuggling himself into your shoulders as he started strumming his guitar again.
The feeling of euphoria slowly started kicking in as your then tense shoulders started relaxing, all that stress that was eating you out all week suddenly faded away in the span of a few seconds because the man behind you. and even though you told him how much you loved him everyday words couldn't comprehend how grateful you were just for him to exist.
he slowly changed his melody as he slowly hummed..

the feeling of familiarity kicked in as you realised he was playing one your favourite songs a song you called "ours"

placing his guitar down, he pulled you closer ,your back pressed against his chest "you know i really love you right" Seungmin started "and i hate seeing you overworked"
you turned around to get a better view of his face as you gave him a slight nod, giving you a chaste kiss on the side of your forehead Seungmin lead you to dining room.
"i know the two of us have been super busy lately but i wanted us to have your favourite dinner together so i set us up a little date because well you are my best part" he tells you
all you could do was hug him tight and tell him how much you loved him
lets just say the whole night was cuddles, comfort food and singing songs about love.
