A month had pasted since Naruto had started his training with the Hyūga and the Uchiha. His training was coming along more or less smoothly. His sensei Hyūga Hiashi whom he learns how to wield his skills with the Byakūgan portion of his dōjutsu; had told him he was progressing through the tiers of mastering it quite well.

He was put through the many spars against Hinata and Hanabi to get this result. He had yet to defeat Hinata in a spar due to her having more years of practice on him, but it had only taken three weeks to surpass Hanabi after having been put through more rigorous training than the younger Hyūga received.

Although it felt like he was growing more accustomed to using the Byakūgan and its enhanced field of vision. It still seemed like he was being held back from unlocking the true potential of Byakūgan, like Hiashi was purposely making sure he didn't learn any advanced techniques. They had only been learning how to improve his movements and hand-eye coordination for the Gentle Fist style that all Hyūga learn starting out. And due to the sharingan he had easily copied the movements and had even improved them to add his own personal touch to the Taijutsu style. Although when he show Hiashi this he was punished and had to fight against a boy named Neji who he learned was quite strong, after having his ass kicked properly.

So he promised himself to keep his improved techniques to himself as he didn't want to be impeded in growing stronger due to the Hyūga's conservative view on their techniques. He rolled his eyes at the thought.

Moving on there was the Uchiha and all he had to say about them was that their members were boring and pompous individuals. He had met few that were interesting individuals like a man named Uchiha Itachi. Naruto had learned that Itachi had once been a member of the clan, and was the son of the leader Fugaku, but had chosen to move out and disowned himself from the clan after clashing opinions and general lack of respect for the populace outside of the Uchiha, led him to removing himself from his clan as a whole. Naruto couldn't blame him, Itachi held an aura of happiness every time he saw him in the streets, unlike the Uchiha who always looked uneasy around others.

When Naruto had arrived at the Uchiha compound for his first day of training he was assigned an older teacher by the name of Uchiha Kalem. Kalem is a very truthful man, and by truthful Naruto meant after every spar, or training session he would see fit to explain every failure Naruto had made throughout the session and berated him for making them. He was also very harsh and brutal when it came to training as on the first day, Kalem made sure to place Naruto under a powerful Genjutsu to break down Naruto's mental state, then had the poor boy perform harsh physical labor to build his stamina. To say it worked would be an understatement.

Because it did. Naruto felt more mentally stable after every session and found himself becoming less and less affected by the Genjutsu, and the physical labor helped build his strength. Yet that was not the only thing that they did, Kalem has helped Naruto master the first tomoe sharingan to where he was close to unlocking the second tomoe in both of them. He just needed the right stimuli to advance it. He had also taught Naruto some low rank Genjutsu that would confuse the enemy in battle.

Naruto had to say; out of Hiashi and Kalem, he preferred Kalem's training methods more than Hiashi's as he felt himself getting stronger after each session with Kalem, than a week's worth with Hiashi.

Anyway, we now see Naruto standing inside his father's office with the rest of his team. Standing behind his sensei with Kiba on his right and Hinata on his left. He hardly listened to the report Kurenai was giving Minato about their 'mission' they just went on, which was repainting a white fence.

"And so the fence was painted and the customer paid in full." Kurenai said as she placed the signed mission scroll onto Minato's desk. The blond man set it aside to look at later, before settling his elbows on his desk.
