"Pregnant?? with my kid," Jackson looked surprised and shocked. I couldn't quite make out if he was happy or sad.
"I- i'm sorry I didn't mean to blurt it out like that."
He nodded in approval, then came the hard part. The part where I told him that he is the father.
"You are.." the words couldn't form in my mouth it was like my tongue was hanging. The words were in my head but putting it out there felt like that the hardest thing of my life.
"It's mine? Isn't it?" Jackson was starting to grow impatient. I had to tell him the truth.
"Yes, I get if you don't want to be part of his or her's life-"
"What? No, I want to be part of their life my dad wasn't there for me I don't want to put my kid through that."
I felt like a weight had been lift off of my shoulders.
