Jade's POV

"..and CUT! that's a wrap!" I hear the director say after I executed my last scene. The room was later filled with applaud. Today marks the end of the shooting of my new movie. I expressed my gratitude to my co-actors and the staff who've always kept me going.

We've been filming it for over three months and it was such a great experience. People might label me as an A-lister in the industry but I've always believed that I still have so much room for improvement. Nah, who am I kidding? I'm the best. But like every project I'm in, I learned a lot of things on this one.

"You did great, Jade! Congratulations!" Annie, my manager, exclaimed as we walk to my dressing room.

"Thank you so much!" I replied.

"You've been working really hard. You should get some rest now," Annie says.

"Don't worry, I will!"

When we got there, I immediately took a seat in front of the vanity mirror.

"That was tiring," I sighed as I whispered to myself. Don't get me wrong, I love working but this was such a long day. I'm kind of drained already.

I decided to close my eyes and take a short nap while my assistants are getting my things ready. Moments later, I didn't realize that I've already fallen into a deep slumber. Annie woke me up saying we now can go. I took my phone off the table and checked the time, "8:36 P.M". I've been asleep for an hour? and they let me do so?

"Hey, Jade!" my co-actor entered the room which made me gather my senses back again.

"Hey," I said.

"Wanna hang out? dinner's on me," He asks.

"Uhmmm, my car's there already and I kinda want to go straight to my bed tonight."

"I understand. How about tomorrow night? you're coming to the wrap party, right?"

I clenched my jaw, "Shit. It's tomorrow?"

"Yeah."

"I'm afraid I already made plans and it's really important. Maybe next time." I'm lying. I'm all free.

"Oh, okay."

"See 'ya," I said and proceeded outside.

As I got into my car's backseat and instructed my driver to take me home, I saw a message notification from my good old friend, Cat Valentine so I read it.

"Don't forget tomorrow night at 7:00 P.M. okay! Don't be late, Jadey! ❤️ and please please tell them already."

"Jadey ❤️"??? This girl has never changed. But what's with tomorrow night?

I thought about Cat's message for a good 5 minutes until I realized...

It's our high school reunion tomorrow night!

I almost forgot about it. Cool, now I have something to do tomorrow night, a real one.

"Of course, I wouldn't forget about that. (although I almost did)

I'll be there, Redhead."

I replied to her.

"You better be! and my hair is not red anymore, you know that!"

I grinned at her response.

About the second one though, I don't think I'm ready. I don't think Beck and I are ready.
