(You and draco both had a hard time at the ministry and both worked really hard causing you to not be able to spend time with scorpius it always went like eating breakfast , bringing him to day care , working and being exhausted when you were back home with scorpius eating dinner and then just watching some tv)

Y/n pov
"I'm happy we took that day off" you sighed
"Yeah me to, and then we can finally spend some time with our scorpius" he said crawling next beside you in the bed
"Yeah" you smiled
You felt bad for scorp , the next few weeks you guys didn't pay a lot of attention to him since you were so busy at work
You both fall asleep after a few minutes

*next morning*
You woke up and put on your clothes , ready for a free day you walked to scorpius his room seeing him awake playing with his stuffed teddies while giggling and creating some funny stories with them
"Morning scorp" draco smiled
He looked at him and gave him a small smile
"Morning" he said , expecting the same to happen eating breakfast going to daycare and spending the rest of the day in his room after eating dinner playing with his toys
"Hey scorpius what's wrong?" You asked
"Nothing" he stood up and walked downstairs resting his chin on his palm
You guys both looked at each other and you could see hurt in draco his eyes , you knew what was wrong with scorpius and you felt so bad about it
You both walked downstairs
"Hey scorpy , what do you wanna eat i can make you waffles,  pancakes?" You smiled
"No thankyou fruit is fine" he didn't even smile , he just looked at the wall infront of him
You sighed and made him his breakfast,  you felt terrible about this and draco clearly did to
"Mommy and daddy took a day from work today , do you maybe wanna go to the park scorp?" Draco asked
"Mhm no I rather just stay home in my room" he simply said , eating his breakfast
Normally he would always be happy when his fruit was cut into shapes like hearts and stars but now he didn't seem to care , he just plopped them into his mouth , his eyes not leaving the wall once .
"Oh uhm if you wanna stay home we can maybe watch a movie?" Draco asked   again
"No thankyou" scorpius answered
He finished his breakfast and immediately went up to his room
Draco looked at you and that's when you lost it you broke down
"God i'm the worst.. I'm horrible" you cried , draco took you in his arms and rubbed your back
"Shh it's okay love , it will be okay we will cheer him up okay?"
"O-okay" after a few minutes you stopped crying and you all went to the toy shop to surprise scorp with new toys like cars and trains and lego
"You think this is gonna work?" You asked standing in front of your sons room
"I hope so" he slightly smiled opening the door
Scorpius looked up from this toys and looked at you guys
"Hi buddy , we bought you some toys" you smiled
"Okay" he answered looking at his old train again
"Don't you wanna see them?"
"Not really" he answered
"But-but we bought you a train set and cars and new lego?" Draco said hopelessly
"Thankyou , but i don't need toys" scorpius said cleaning up his toys and sitting at his little desk to drawn  , normally he would always drawn you w draco and himself but this time he drawned dragons and dogs
You looked at draco and he seemed like he genuinely didn't know what to do anymore
"Hey scorp we're so sorry for not spending time with you the past 2 weeks , but mama and dada were just so so busy and we were so tired when we got back home" you began
"It's okay i got it , work is important,  playing with childish toys isn't , I will try to be grown up so we can do things together" he simply said continuing drawing
"What? What no scorp , that's absolutely not it baby , I love playing with your train with you and crashing the cars together" draco said kneeling down beside him
"No , it's for baby's i got you don't wanna play with baby stuff" scorp muttered
"Baby , please no I promise we love playing with your toys , we really do"
He looked at you guys and a small smile appeared on his face
"Really?" He asked
"Yes baby we love it" draco smiled
Scorp stood up and hugged you both tightly
"We're so sorry scorpie" you smiled
"It's okay.. can we play with the new train set now?" He asked a grin spreading across his face
"Ofcourse buddy" draco smiled
And so you 3 ended up playing with the new train set for atleast 3 hours , but it made him happy he never smiled this hard and you couldn't say no to him
