Sharpening knives

Sharpening knives is very boring but it keeps me occupied. Sonny was watching me, like he always does until we heard a scream.

"Let me go please, I didn't do anything wrong, I'll do anything just please let me go!"

father rushed down stairs and threw her down and punched the girl. He ran back upstairs. We have never seen this before.

The girl had a bag over her head, I wanted to take it off but I was afraid.

"Take it off Ellie, see what happens"

I was about to until she moved. I was scared even more.

"H-hello... " I heard a voice say behind the bag.

"Do it Ellie!"

"Stop Sonny im scared!"

I walked a little closer. "Sonny you do it your older!"

Sonny pushed me out of the way and pulled off the bag. Man, I wish I looked like her....

She was so pretty, I've never seen a girl in a long time. I never go out of the house. "What's your name...?"

"Kira...Listen I don't know who you guys are and....Are you guys sharpening knifes?!"

"I was ma'am how old are you?"

"Im 21 Listen, are you going to kill me?" She asked with tears all over her face.

"No...but father might."

Before i could say anything else father grabbed her and looked at his watch. "10:25 kids, go get ready for bed, thank you for sharpening the knifes Ellie"

To be honest I didn't even sharpen them all that much.

I got ready and grabbed my marker and so did Sonny. I looked at the clock and at 10:35 we heard father put on music. He puts on music while he is killing to drown out the screams, it never works.

I heard the terrible shrieks and screams as I slowly wrote on the wall with my marker,
