To say Alex had been running from her problems all her life was an understatement, sure she wasn't one to leave things to the last moments but when it came to "Alexandra Gray's life and everything that's fucked up in it" it wasn't something that Alex would just sit down to think about.

This was also the main reason why Alex always tried to be occupied with something, why she didn't sleep that much, and especially why she was the type of person to always listen and never open up about her thoughts.

However, for once in her life, Alex felt like she belonged and for once she felt like she wasn't running anymore.

Alex had spent the last hour looking for Sky and as the brunette ran through Alfea's corridors she cursed herself and the stupid school for being so big, to Alex this all felt like a corn maze and even if she had been at the school for quite a while now every corridor and hallway looked exactly the same to Alex, especially in the specialist's hall.

After what felt like running a whole damn marathon Alex found herself, out of breath, in the specialist's training area which, much to Alex's dislike, was on the other side of the school. The mind fairy finally caught her breath and spotted Sky's blonde hair on the other side of the field hitting a punching bag like it had taken his last piece of cake

Alex ran up to the blonde specialist and just as he was about to throw another punch Alex put her hand on his shoulder, Sky stopped in his tracks yet he didn't turn around

"Hey.." Alex said so low it was almost a whisper

"It's ok Sky, I'm here" she added

Sky didn't say anything, he turned around and hugged Alex tightly, he wanted to push her away put on the facade he had been putting on ever since his dad died, Sky didn't want Alex to see her like this, and yet there was something about the mind fairy that Sky didn't completely understand but it made him feel like his problems just disappeared when she was around

The couple spent quite a long time just standing there in each other's arms until Alex pulled and took Sky's hand leading him away from the training field and back to the main building of the school

"Come on let's get you your piece of cake," Alex said to which Sky looked at her with a very confused look on his face

"Never mind" Alex shook her head as a small smile crept on her face

The couple walked back to the fairy dorms just to find Alex's suitemates extremely stressed out

"Uh... what's going on?" Alex asked, their minds were going back and forth from Bloom to Beatrix to Dowling's assistant, and even the word murder crossed Terra's minds a few times.

"Did Silva tell you what was happening today? He must've" Aisha asked Sky

"Is this a suite drama?"

"There is no suite drama" Musa rolled her eyes and yet again the word murder crossed in Terra's mind

"Murder?" Alex frowned confused looking at Terra

"Not the time to be reading minds, Alex," Terra said

"Right"
