We walk to the limo outside, mama and papa already for the ball so the coast was clear. I open the door to see one of my favorite people sitting in the back seat, Alonzo.
"Wow, disobeying your parents again aren't we ri?"
"Yup." I said proudly
Alonzo is my childhood bestfriend, his parents and my parents are best friends and he has been my protector forever, he's like the big brother I never had. Just like papa, he kept any and every boy away from me and I thank them for that but sometimes it was irritating. But hey, I'm alive so thats all that matters.
"Wait I thought you were on some mission in Spain." I said
"Oh was, I got back like 2 days ago, then Lauren over here tells me you into some mischief again so I figured you could use some back up." he said.
I look over at Lauren who is smiling and seems to be very proud of herself, I mean back up is helpful but I can do things on my own also. It's like everyone seems I have gotten soft except for "The Black Azalea" doesn't do soft. I named myself that when I fist started fighting, then when I made a kill I would always leave a black azalea behind. Word got around except they don't know what my real name is or what I look like, they just know my mark. There are only a few people who know, my family and The Italians. So I'm hoping I will get to leave my mark once again tonight.
"Whats the plan?" Alonzo asks.
"Lonzo you know I don't really do 'plans', I just go with it. But this case is different, I need to be alone in a room with him so I need to either seduce him or knock him out. I said.
"So your gonna try and do all this while still avoiding Zia Carmella and Zio Tonio, not to mention my parents and-
I cut him off, "Wait, Zia Bianca and Zio Gino are coming too?!" I said.
He nodded.
"Damn it, now we have to keep an eye one them to." I said leaning back in the seat.
"May I remind you that I am the one who is hacking into the cameras, telling you and dipshit over here who is where and when the coast is clear." Lauren said looking at her computer.
"The fuck did I do?" Lonzo said confused.
"I don't really know, sorry Lonzo." Lauren said.
I laughed a little bit, they have a very good love-hate relationship, which always ends up with Lonzo getting a bruise from Lauren, and I just watch and laugh.
"Miss we are here." The driver said.
"Thank you."
Me and Lonzo got out of the car, before we shut the door Laur threw him the earpiece.
