Y/n Ivanov was the only widow that was not under Dreykovs control. She did not know how but all she knew is she had to play along. Or at least until Melina showed up.
This is going to be a Melina x reader thing.
Also i'm not doing smut, so if you w...
Y/n hasn't seen Melina in days, and honestly she thought she did something wrong. Everyday after training, and dinner she would look for the woman, but she never saw her anywhere.
On the fifth morning she got up and did her regular morning routine. She put her hair into a dutch braid before splashing her face with cold water. Y/n had found herself always putting her in either a dutch braid or a high ponytail.
Once she left the bathroom and ate breakfast, she headed to the training room with all the others. In the middle of practice all the widows, except Y/n, stopped and turned to look at her. Y/n stopped too and looked at all the widows staring her way. The young girl didn't know what what was happening so she stepped back.
One after one the widows walked in her direction.
"Wha- what are you guys doing?" She backed up into a wall, and looked around. Suddenly one of the widows punched her in the face. "What the hell!" Another punch. "Why ar-."Another punch and then a kick.
Y/n was now on the floor getting beaten up by widows with four widows on her limbs. One on each arm and one on each leg. She finally managed to say something after minutes of the beating.
"Stop! stop please. please" None of the girls stopped. Forty minutes went by and the four widows that were in her limbs had gotten up and the hitting a kicking stopped. All of the other widows had left the room, leaving the beaten girl on the floor in the corner of the room, barely breathing. Melina had walked past the open double doors to this room, and turned her head before walking forward again.
Melina had thought she'd seen someone so she turned around, walked into the room, and saw Y/n on the floor sitting with her head in her knees shaking.
Melina stood there shocked before walking over to the girl. She taped Y/n on the shoulder, making her flinch. She didn't look up, in fact she wrapped her arms tighter around her knees, if that was even possible. Melina didn't know what had happened but knew it was bad.
She slowly bent down to sit on her knees and then put her hand on Y/n's knee, making her flinch again, but left it there. "Y/n... It's me. It Melina. Are you okay?" That made Y/n look up.
Once Melina had seen the younger girl's beaten face she almost started crying. Again, she did not know what had happened but now thought it might of had something to do with the other widows.
"Did the widows do this?" Melina had asked while slowly reaching her hand up to touch the girls cheek. Melina looked at each bruise on her face and, carefully, rubbed her thumb over each them.
Y/n could only nod her head, having lost her voice from the beating. She looked at Melina's eyes and saw her tearing up. The young girl shook her head and mouthed 'Don't cry' while wiping the other woman's tears away.
"Please don't cry Melina." She had gotten the quietest whisper out, but Melina still heard her.
That sentence made Melina cry just a little bit harder. She took her hands of the the girls bruised face and wiped her tears with the back of her hand. Melina looked at the girls arm and saw more cuts and bruises.
"Y/n we need to clean these cuts okay?" Y/n nodded her head in response and, with Melinas help, got up. The girls walked to a different bathroom than the one connected to the widows bedroom. Y/n sat in the counter and looked at Melina as she looked through all the cabinets trying to find a first aid kit.
Melina finally found one and cleaned each cut. Each time Melina would touch one of the Y/n would wince. Melina tried to distract her while cleaning the cuts but it didn't work. Y/n only stared at her arms, and Melinas hands, while the cuts were being cleaned.
Once finished, Melina threw away the trash and helped Y/n off the counter. Y/n turned around and mouthed a thank you to Melina.
"You're welcome. I'm sorry that happened." The younger girl nodded her head in response before hugging her friend.
The two girls stood there for a few minutes hugging before they let each other go. The lunch reminder rang and Y/n started to cry again. Melina knew that she would not want to see the other widows. Melina however did not want to leave Y/n alone. She asked the younger girl if she wanted something to eat. Y/n shook her head and looked at the floor.
"Y/n... you have to eat something." The girl shook her head again. Melina sighed, she knew you shouldn't force someone to eat if they didn't want to, so she didn't.
Melina had led Y/n to the room Dreykov had given her so the younger girl wouldn't be alone in the bathroom, and in risk of another widow coming in and possibly beating her up again.
When Melina left the room Y/n had started to cry again, the young girl didn't know what had happened. She had gotten acknowledged, but not in a good way. Y/n wanted to leave, but knew she couldn't because Dreykov could track her down and, what he would most likely do, kill her.
Melina came back after a few minutes with a sandwich, which she had cut in half, two water bottles, and a couple crackers. Melina had given the crackers and one of the waters to the younger girl, which surprisingly she took, but did not eat or drink. Melina put her plate on one of the shelves in her room and bent down in front of the girl, who was now sitting on the edge of Melina's bed looking at the floor, and wiped her tears away.
Y/n looked at Melina and gave a small smile, held up the water and crackers, and mouthed a thank you. The older woman nodded her head and smiled back.
When Y/n had finally eaten the crackers, she got off of Melina's bed and looked around the room. Her eyes landed on a book shelf, and she walked over to it. She touched every book before finally, picking up an empty sketch book. She looked at Melina, who gave her a pencil, and sat down on the floor beside her. She laid her head onto Melina's shoulder and started drawing.
After a few hours of drawing, Y/n had managed to draw a face with flowers around the face.
(Kinda like the picture at the bottom of this page)
Y/n ripped the page out and handed it to Melina. They looked at each other before Melina looked down at the drawing again.
"This is really good Y/n" The girl mouthed a thank you in response, since she still couldn't talk, and laid her head on Melina's lap. The younger girl closed her eyes, while Melina played with her hair.
The young girl managed to fall asleep after a few minutes in hopes that the next day would be better.
