the rain pounds on my hair. michael jumps out from behind a tree. "got tired of playing hide and seek." i nod. i'm gonna really miss him when the time is up. his smile falters. "you good?" he asks, wrapping his hands around my body. the rain starts pouring harder. i glance around quickly, the forest is so peaceful. just me, michael, and nature. i look back up at his worried face. "i'm fine." i answer. he doesn't believe it. he sighs. "Y/n, i love you." he blurts out. "i know we don't have much time but i'm glad to be yours. even when i seem like i'm not real. i'm there. i always will be real in you're heart." he finishes.
i look up at his dark blue eyes. it starts getting colder but i don't care. "i.." i say, i have no words. i just love him. suddenly, his lips touch mine, his chapped lips. i was honestly expecting that but, i embrace it knowing it's our last time together. he smells of blood & wires. i kiss him harder our eyes are closed. he starts disappearing. "NO!" I immediately let go. "NO! MICHAEL- NO! I-I LOVE YOU!" I scream. he just looks up at me and smiles. "i love you y/n..." he's gone. everything i wanted to gone. why must you be so cruel world? i start crying. I love him so so so much, the rain pours harder. I fall down into the mossy, wet grass. I just can't. I close my eyes and..I wake up in my bed. What..? I think. It was just a dream? It felt so real...i look around my bed, it's all messed up my pillows, blankets, and stuffed animals. I grab onto a pillow/stuffed animal and squeeze it. I start crying more. Why world? Just why?
