(Author's note: I wish you a nice reading.)

Shun: Doppler? Why the hell Doppler?

Ellen: Do you know what a doppler is?

Shun: A fairy-tale monster that can take the form of any person. In some stories, it even copies the clothes or the appearance of animals or other monsters. Well... as long as they have a human-like grammage. An elephant or an ant are not an option.

Ellen: Enough, enough, I understand now that you know.

Ellen was much more hoping for a brief answer, limited to a symbolic yes or no, than a definition that was a few sentences long.

Shun: Go ahead, say what's going on.

Ellen: He can copy too.

Shun: No appearance, right?

Ellen: Yes, people can't do that.

Mathers did not continue her speech, which irritated Tokisaki, who was indeed curious about the Englishman.

Shun: Can you tell me finally why everybody calls him that?

The blonde did not avoid answering because of her spite.
The woman realized that she talked too much and gave the Dictator information about probably the only people who could kill him.
Unfortunately, the reverie came too late. Now all she could say was that she had no intention of giving any data to some lousy spirit, for which it would inevitably take revenge in some particularly malicious way.
The only lifeline for herself was to go on and close the topic immediately after discussing the nickname of Alexander, and this in turn could give the raven man an advantage over Edgard if they ever faced up.
Ultimately, the violet-eyed woman was driven by her survival instinct at the expense of others.

Ellen: It's enough for him to see another mage's technique once and be able to use it himself.

Shun: I see, by observing and then practicing the movements, he use them in practice.

Ellen: No.

Shun: How's that not?

Tokisaki, while nibbling on the liliputs, tried in vain to arrive at a different interpretation of Mahters' words.

Ellen: He doesn't have to practice anything. If he sees any exceptional blade movement, airborne acrobatics or anything else, he will be able to repeat it immediately without any fault.

The Dictator choked on a treat and slapped his chest several times.

Shun: That would... explain why, despite such a short career, he has already made a name for himself.

Ellen: Yes, if you don't have to spend countless hours in the training room mastering thrusts, cuts, blocks and parades, then... then...

The blonde thought about the right choice of words, but the Dictator was faster.

Shun: That going to be monstrously strong won't be a problem, is it?

Ellen: That's right.

Shun: So which one do you think your stool will take? Mana, Artemisia, Origami or Alexander?

Ellen: What are you talking about?! Why would any of them become Adeptus 1?!

Enraged, Mathers stood up and slapped her hands on the table top with the expression on the face of a thoroughbred killer.

Shun: Not the Adeptus, but the strongest wizard, and they would do it, because you know...

Tokisaki wanted to throw a treat in his mouth in order to temporarily avoid the answer.
However his fingers did not reach any ball, and as the blue eyes looked down, an empty plate appeared.
