When I woke up the next morning, the kids were still asleep. So, I went downstairs and did a small workout. Charlie had left a note saying he had to leave for work early. Great. He was supposed to take Loretta and Reese with him. The school/daycare they're enrolled in is on his way to work. The truck he got me isn't big enough for all of us.

{the small windows in the back are next to small seats. that's where the babies are strapped in. not in the front next to the airbag}

     Oh well. I'll figure it out in a bit. First, I need to eat breakfast, shower, get dressed, get the kids up, feed them, bathe them, get them dressed, then repeat the process with the babies.

As soon as I've finished getting everyone and myself ready, I see that I have thirty minutes before we have to leave. I call Billy to see if he can take the kids to school. He said he would be here in 10 minutes. Perfect.

     As soon as Billy leaves with the kids, I get the babies buckled into the truck. As we get closer to the school, I start feeling a strong emotional pull from the far corner of the lot. I look to see what could be causing this. I lock eyes with a handsome, honey-blond man. Vampire. I can tell because of his eyes. As I park and get out, I keep stealing glances at him. He never looks away from me until he and the people around him start walking towards the front door of the school. As he turns around, he wraps his arm around a short, pixie haired girl.

     My heart breaks into a thousand pieces

     My heart breaks into a thousand pieces. I thought I had finally found my mate. He already had someone. I squeeze my eyes shut to stop the tears. I unbuckled the babies and go to the office.

My schedule:
8:30-9:00 | Transition Time
9:05-9:30 | Morning Check-In
9:35-10:00 | History
10:05-10:30 | English
10:35-11:00 | Biology
11:05-11:30 | Gym
11:35-12:00 | Lunch
12:05-12:30 | Advisory
12:35-1:00 | Dismissal

     My school day is two and a half hours shorter than a regular schedule. The school shortened it for me so that I can pick up the girls when needed and so the babies can have their afternoon naps at home.

     When I get to first period, I immediately smell the handsome vampire from the parking lot. I hope I don't have to spend too much time with him. It breaks my heart to even think about him with that girl. When I give the teacher my slip, he tells me to sit in the only empty seat there is. When I look to see where he's pointing, I see it's the seat next to vampire boy, who the teacher referred to as Jasper Hale. Oh joy.
