"What's a girl like you doing at a bar late at night?" Jisoo asked as she sat down on the empty stool near the lonely woman. She looked around seeing the bar empty yet a woman was sitting there picking at her nails. She looked rather anxious over something, Jisoo wondered if it was because the bartender was nowhere to be seen. She looked over to her and Jisoo couldn't help let heat radiate off his cheek. The woman was beautiful.

"What's a Detective like you doing at a bar late at night?" She questioned her and Jisoo frowned until she looked down at her pants. Her badge shining bright with gold, Seoul Police Detective. She chuckled as she pulled her shirt down hoping to hide it away from the woman. "Shouldn't you be catching bad guys?" She asked with a chuckle as a bartender showed up from the back of the bar with a glass of what Jisoo could assume was straight vodka.

Jisoo couldn't help but chuckle as the bartender looked over to her with a small smile. She looked at the bartender as she knew she should order something. "Water," she said after a while of thinking. She wanted to drink but she was reminded like always she was driving tonight. She looked over to the woman who had finished her drink and she couldn't help but wonder if she was driving herself home tonight. "It's been a quiet night," she answered and the woman gave her a small pout as if that was too bad.

"My girlfriend recently broke up with me so I've been coping," she said with a sad smile being shown to the Detective. Jisoo frowned as the woman shook her head lifting up the second glass of vodka the bartender had given her. "Her loss anyway," she continued as she downed the second glass right before Jisoo's eyes. The woman grimaced at the burning sensation that was happening in the back of her throat but as she looked at Jisoo she couldn't help but smile. "The name's Lisa, Detective."

Jisoo's eyes widened as she hadn't asked for her name but Lisa was looking at her with a fire in her eyes and she couldn't help but wonder what was going through that woman's head. Jisoo cleared her throat as she lifted her hand up, "Jisoo." Lisa smiled as she grabbed the Detectives hand, shaking it firmly. Jisoo couldn't help but notice how rough her hand was. Lisa could tell she wasn't used to such a rough hand from a woman so she let go and rubbed it against her jeans hoping the roughness would go away.

The bartender turned on the TV that was hanging in the corner of the room as a loud yawn escaped his mouth. Jisoo couldn't help but wonder how long had this bartender been at this bar. By the looks of it he hadn't even gotten an ounce of sleep. She took a sip of water as she looked at the TV seeing the breaking news title screen. A new body had been discovered, she took a deep breath as she heard the beeping sound of her pager start to go off.

She looked over to Lisa who only stared at the TV with almost a tiny glint in those brown eyes. She wanted to question her but at the same time work was calling her. She stood up as did Lisa and she wondered where she was heading off too. Jisoo opened her mouth to speak but Lisa lifted a hand up to stop her. "I can call a cab Detective, work is clearly calling you," she casually said as she walked out of the bar in a straight line not once wobbling. Her drinking tolerance must be high, Jisoo thought.

"Are you going to pay for this?" Jisoo heard from the side of her and she noticed the bartender pointing at the two glasses of vodka and water. Jisoo cursed under her breath as she knew Lisa had done this on purpose. She threw a couple of bills on the bar not caring for the change. The bartender grabbed the bills with wide eyes as the Detective started to walk out of the bar. She took a deep breath as she hoped Lisa was still outside waiting for a cab and give her a scolding and maybe hitch a ride. But she was gone.

"Shit," she whispered out loud as she ran a hand through her hair knowing it would be impossible for her to find her again. "Fuck," she cursed out once again as she grabbed her cellphone calling her partner, Roseanne Park. She answered the phone quickly and Jisoo could only smile at the voice that was now yelling at her asking where the hell she was. "Rosie I need you to come pick me up," Jisoo managed to let out before Roseanne started to cuss at her knowing she was at that damn bar once again.
