Anna sat at the window looking out at the ground far below her window, wishing that she could jump out and escape. But she also knew that if she were to make the attempt, one of Dracula's followers would have caught her, preventing her from killing herself. I'd much rather be dead then be stuck in this room waiting to find out what fate has in store for me. It's no secret that Dracula wants me dead. I'm the last of my family alive, who poses as a threat to him. Then there is Carl, Van Helsing and Lilith. Though I'm sure if she were forced to make a choice, Lilith would ditch Van Helsing and pick Dracula. I must play nice with her. She will most likely be with them when Van Helsing comes to save me from this hell hole, Anna thought before turning as the door opened. There she found two vampire maids standing in the doorway.

"Sorry to intrude princess, but the master sent us to help get you ready for tonight," Sofia said.

"Should I refuse to attend this ball," Anna questioned.

Margaret scoffed while rolling her eyes. "You don't get a choice in the matter. The master will only force you to go. Just like he forced us into working for-"

"Now Maggie, don't speak ill of the master. You don't know if Aleera is lurking around the corner listening in. Remember what happened to Agatha before the master finally put her out of her misery," Sofia asked.

"How can I forget? He made us watch that way we got the message loud and clear. He would kill us slowly until we're practically begging for death," Margaret said before turning to Anna. "We have to get her ready before the master jumps to the conclusion that we're trying to help reunite her with her hunter lover," Margaret said.

"Actually, Van Helsing is not my lover. We're simply friends who share a common goal. We will put an end to your master and all that he's created," Anna snapped as the two vampire servants stripped Anna of her clothes and helped her into the dress.

"You stupid girl! How dare you speak so ill of our master! He's been nothing but kind giving you the most beautiful of dresses and the finest of jewels to wear to the ball tonight. This is how you repay him?!? There are many women who would ill to go to the master's ball in all of the finest that he has to offer," Margaret snapped.

Sofia shook her head at her friend, keeping her form snapping the ungrateful princess' neck. "Now Maggie, excuse her tongue. It seems that this ungrateful thing that is in our presence is only trying to provoke us to get us to kill her. It's what she wants so the master will become angered at us and kill us. Don't give her what she wants," Sofia said before moving to Anna's hair. Sofia made sure that she tugged on Anna's hair hard enough to let Anna know that if she didn't stop, she would let her master know what she was up to. Anna huffed as both Margaret and Sofia finished getting her ready for the ball.

I hope Van Helsing comes soon. I don't' want to be stuck dancing with Dracula, Anna thought to herself.

Lilith woke up placing a hand to her head as she opened her eyes, staring up at the ceiling. Lilith wasn't surprised when she was greeted with the sight of the ceiling of a tomb. Lilith sat up looking around before her eyes landed on the Frankenstein monster lying next to her. I'm going to kill Gabriel when I get out of this damn tomb. I told him that I can handle myself in a fight. That damn man will never listen to me. What on earth would it take to prove to Gabriel that I'm not as fragile as he makes me out to be; when will he realize that I can handle myself in a fight? That damn will never listen to me. What on earth would it take to prove to Gabriel that I'm as good as him when it comes to fighting, Lilith thought to herself as she got up making her way closer to the Frankenstein. "I'm so sorry that you have to go through all of this. I know you didn't ask for this life. There has to be a way to help you find peace among the world." Lilith's head snapped up at the sound of the door of the tomb opening.
