Ranboo wakes up in a cold sweat, breathing heavily. 'Where am I?' He frightenly thinks. "Hey, hey, hey," he hears someone say, "you're ok." After frantically looking around for the source of the voice, his gaze lands on a girl with silver hair sitting with her back to the wall, book in lap. "Who are you?" Ranboo asks. "Oh, I'm Niki! A friend of mine said he saw you on a park bench? Anywho when-"
"Who's your friend?" "Oh, his name's Wilbur. Anyways, this creepy man was looking at you funny so Will said he pretended you were his kid and walked off with you. Sorry if that doesn't sit right. He said he'd rather seem like a creep then see you missing on the news." She pauses, looking slightly surprised at Ranboo's sudden calmness. "Why where you on that bench anyways?" "No reason," he replied while getting up from the bed he was laying on. 'Purple and white striped sheets. White walls with a purple accent one. A brown book bag with patches sewn on with what looked like a plaid shirt sleeve sticking out. Interesting.'
"Well, thanks for helping me out, but I better get going." He saw the look of protest in her eyes and added, "my parents are probably worried sick about me." "Oh!" She replied. He added, "mom always gets so worried when I visit the park at night, I guess I understand why now" to satisfy the look of worry she had. "Oh, ok. Do you need a drive home?" "No thanks, my mom would freak out if she figured out I fell asleep at the park. Thanks though."
They walked out of the room with Niki behind them, showing them to the door. "Wait. What's your name?" She got out before the door fully closed. 'Shit' Ranboo thought. "Um, my friends call me Ranboo. Thanks for everything." And he bolted before Niki could get a 'you're welcome' out of her mouth.
