Nate Tennyson is the son of the long deceased Ben Tennyson. After many years, Nate finds his father's Omnitrix and becomes the new user. He befriends other successors of the former JSA.
Ben, Nate, Yolanda, Pat, Courtney and Cindy were walking down the street to the American Dream.
Stargirl: We lost contact with Beth and Dr. McNider.
Pat: Yeah, our phones are out too.
Wildcat: Beth said Eclipso was in there.
Shiv: What about your big robot?
Pat: He's under repair. Thanks to you.
Shiv: Oh, right, my bad.
Stargirl: Pat, we don't have STRIPE or Rick. Jennie's sick and the Thunderbolt's missing.
Shiv: You got me.
Wildcat: We don't want you.
Stargirl: Stop it, you two.
They stop to look at the rift in the sky.
Wildcat: What is that?
Nate: That would be the Hands of Armageddon ripping a hole in the fabric of reality.
Ben: We're already too late.

Stargirl: Beth?
Pat: Dr. McNider?
Eclipso had disguised himself to look like Bruce Gordon as a child.
Eclipso: Hi. Your friends are busy watching Beth's parents die.
Shiv: Gosh, you're such a creep.
They readied to fight.
Stargirl: Go find Beth.
Pat: You sure?
Stargirl: Yeah.
Pat went off to find Beth and Dr. McNider. Courtney, Yolanda and Cindy went to attack Eclipso, but Ben and Nate got knocked into another room by Zs'Skayr.
Nate: Hey, it's... um... I wanna say Cecil.
Zs'Skayr: You may try your humor as much as you want Tennysons, it is already too late.
Ben: It's never too late, Zs'Skayr.
Ben transformed.

Nate looked over to see Yolanda struggling with the illusion of Ted Grant. He fired a blast of mana which got him off of her.
