After they discovered most of the secret passageways, the Marauders wouldn't take the regular routes to class ever again. And I don't mean that they would use the helpful shortcuts. No that would be too simple, I mean they would go nuts and find a different way to class every time.
One week they would go through a secret tunnel , slide down a slide , climb up a ladder and eventually drop down from the vent in the classroom. Next week they would find themselves walking along the the rooftop and crawl through the window.
One day however, Professor McGonagall would open the drawer to her desk and they'd crawl out and look around in confusion. She'd just stare at them, speechless and James would say ; "I'm just as confused as you are Professor" He would then turn to Siruis and ask "How did we get here?" Siruis would check the Marauder's map and mutter; "You've got me. Merlin's pants , it makes no sense"
