"You okay?" I ask Zac as he puts an ice pack on his eye.

"Yeah, can't believe I have to sit with an ice pack here, I've had worse," he rolls his eyes.

"You still won the tournaments," I state.

"Yeah, but what about you?" He sighs.

"I'm fine, really," I chuckle.

He smiles at me taking the ice pack away from his eye.

"It's barely bruised," I frown.

He shrugs and places the ice pack on the table.

"You both could have left a long time ago, congratulations , Zac," Derek grins as Zac nods.

"You did just as good," Derek pats my back.

Nodding with a smile, Zac and I leave.

"It's pretty dark and the other two had left to the cafe, can I give you a ride?" I ask.

We stand at the lockers, collecting our bags.

I pull my sweatshirt on and take my gloves off.

"Sure," he replies, putting his stuff in his bag.

Once we both have our bags over our shoulder, we walk to my car.

"Just put your bags in the backseat," I inform him.

He does as told and climbs in the car.

"The rumours are true," he laughs.

"What rumours?" I frown.

"That your car is always a mess," he snickers.

"That is not true, I cleaned it a few days ago!" I gasp.

"Sure you did," he shakes his head with a laugh.

"Shut up," I grumble, starting the car and driving over to the cafe.

"AUX?" He asks.

"In the cabinet," I reply.

He opens the cabinet, pulling out the AUX cable and plugging it in his phone.

The ride to the cafe is pretty long, so it'll be much better listening to music than sitting in silence.

He starts playing a song I recognize and I let a small smile appear on my lips.

"You listen to Chase Atlantic?" I ask trying not to laugh.

"What's wrong with it?" He glares at me.

"I just didn't take you as the type to listen to their music is all," I shrug.

"This happens to be my favourite song of theirs," he says rather proudly.

"Is that so?" I glance at him.

"Yes," he states and I smile.

Who knew?

I continue driving and soon we see the cafe in the distance.

"How long have you guys gone to this place?" He asks.

"Since freshman year" I say.

"Damb, I feel like an outsider now," he lightly laughs.

"Dont worry, you're one of us now," I smile.

When I'm parked in the parking lot of the cafe, we both climb out and immediately head inside.

"Took you guys long enough, were you guys making out in the parking lot or something?" Sarah raises her brows.

"Ha ha," I say sarcasticly.

"Actually we were listening to Chase Atlantic," Zac chuckles.

"No doubt," Jake rolls his eyes.

"Let me guess, 'Swim'?" Sarah smirks.

Glaring at her I look through the menu, even though I know what I'm ordering.

"It's you're favourite too?" Zac laughs.

"I did not say that," I say, avoiding eye contact.

"Actually, it's one hundred percent her favourite song," Jake states.

"Shut up, Jake," I groan.

"Look, she's blushing."

Ignoring them, I wait for the waiter to take our order.

How dare they call me out like that?

"Here you go," the waiter tells us, handing our order a few minutes later.

"Thanks," we say simultaneously,  taking our milkshakes.

Mine being bubblegum of course.

"Anyway, congratulations on the big win, Zac," Sarah grins at Zac.

I'm really proud of him, he just started at our club and he's already accomplished this much.

"Next year, Emma," Jake says, patting my back.

"Don't petty me, you know I don't like that," I mumble so that only Jake can hear.

"Sorry," he whispers.

"It's okay," I reassure him with a chuckle.
