The backyard of the Chateau looks the same as it did when JJ decorated it for their 'special' day. It turns out that those decorations are perfect for a Pogue funeral.
Popi holds tightly onto Ferris and Kiara as the trio watches Pope and JJ turn a tree into a gravestone for John B. In her free hand is a bottle of tequila, the top resting not far from their feet on the ground. Ferris holds a bundle of flowers that need to be planted.
Finishing their masterpiece, Pope and JJ step back to join the group of Pogues. JJ's arm goes around Popi's waist, tightening as he brings up his flask.
"To John B," He chokes out.
"And to Sarah," Kiara mournfully whispers.
The group blinks away tears, drowning their alcohol in large gulps.
Popi picks up the box with John B's stuff in it, fiddling with the leather bracelet. Her throat tightens, eyes blurring with tears. Letting out a shuddering breath, she closes the box and puts it into the ground.
As they all begin to bury it, Ferris plants his flowers, letting them mark John B's legacy.

A lot has changed over the summer. The group went through a week of life-changing events that led to the assumed death of two of their friends. They are all unbelievably traumatized with Rafe and Wade Cameron walking around as free men.
Not a lot of good came from the group getting involved with a treasure hunt. Except one, which Popi is currently witnessing as she sits in the Vanderbilts living room watching JJ and Ferris play a video game.
While most of the Pogues decided it is best to keep distance until school starts back, JJ grew closer to Ferris. He is learning to grow out from his father's horrible shadow by living with the Vanderbilts, who have taken him in with no trouble.
Now, that didn't mean he stops doing stupid things. The stick and poke currently infecting his skin is evident to that.
There have been some accidents surrounding the incident. JJ got fired from his job at the country club for blowing up misinformation spread about John B. He now does chores around the Vanderbilts house to gain some money. Kiara drags Pope into vandalisms with her to the Cameron's property. She's on a warpath, always screaming how Wade and Rafe are murderers.
Pope is currently keeping distance between him and Ferris, for obvious reasons. Hell, Popi barely saw her brother. He has returned to bury himself in his books, attempting to find another way to get some money for school.
It wasn't long until the group was arriving back at school.
Popi and Pope get out of Kiara's car at the same time JJ hops out of Ferris's jeep. He stumbles over the curb, into Popi's arms.
