• You sometimes think back to where you first met and realize how much things have changed

° Even if he usually just calls you babe
• Just in private, because you act very differently in public
° Always being there for him when he’s feeling anguished
• Reminding him how important he is and how much you love him
° Derek protecting you from anyone that somehow threatens your wellbeing
• Him teaching you a few techniques to defend yourself
° Because he knows you’re a badass and don’t really need him to protect you
• Just a calm and healthy relationship
° In which, even though there are many bad moments and disagreements, you two just respect and love each other
