"The old lady gave me this, she said it could help with elemental abilities" you slipped the chain over your head letting the pendant lay against your chest. Sukuna had taken it from you when he first brought you here, later he returned it in the small box but you had completely forgot about it until now. "Let's go to the baths Cinder, I want to see if this can really help me be more useful".

With that you and Cinder made your way down the temple hallways. You took in the details of the walls almost feeling like it was the first time you had looked at them. Although you had been here for months you were just starting to feel at home and noticing all the small details of the temple. You hummed making your way into the baths taking in the sweet smell of the air that was still so familiar to you. Pulling your clothes off you folded them neatly piece by piece before setting them off in a spot you hoped would keep them dry.

As you turned to the bath you clenched the purple pendent in your fist taking in a deep breath to calm your nerves. "Please I need this to work" you muttered out still holding the pendent as you slowly stepped into the steaming pool of water. Cinder sat outside the bath watching you in confusion cocking it's head they seemed confused as you submerged yourself in water leaving only your head exposed. You closed your eyes trying to focus on the water swaying your body gently, letting go of the pendent you let your hands float under the water. Memories started to flood into your mind from your childhood.

"It's so cold!" Shivering in the cold river water you tucked your legs to your chest hugging them tightly in an attempt to keep what little heat you had. "Stop complaining dear, you'll get used to it soon" the older lady sunk deeper into the river letting her face remain above the icy water. You watched in awe as she seemed completely at peace, her long grey hair swaying in the flowing water. "How are you ok with this?" You stood up angrily only to immediately plunge back into the water when a cold winter breeze graced your wet skin.

The old lady laughed at you making you pout and turn away from her. That's when you felt a huge wave of water hit your back drenching you completely. You turned around when you heard the old lady laughing harder realizing she was the culprit that sent the wave your way. "You're cruel!" You cried out tears pricking your eyes. "Now now stop complaining, it doesn't do you any good anyway. Does it?" She made her way to you sitting down in front of you. Grabbing your face gently she started humming the toon she always did.

You could feel your body tingle as you focused on her humming. Soon enough you were completely distracted that you didn't notice the changes that were going on around you. "See, what did I tell you?" She broke from her humming motioning to the water around you. As you looked away from her you noticed bubbles flowing up in the water rolling along the surface. The water that was once filled with ice was now boiling around you. "You do pretty good work, although I think if we stay in much longer you're going to boil us alive" her tone was sarcastic as she patted your back roughly.

You were jolted back to the present when Cinder let out a loud bellow. "What is it? What's wrong?!" You were panicked but when you went to turn around you found yourself stuck completely in place. Confused you looked down to the water "it's... it's frozen?" You were shocked. In your trance remembering the past you pulled the same stunt as back then although this time instead of boiling you completely froze the entire bath into a solid block of ice.

A happy squeal left your lips leaving Cinder even more confused and worried. Quickly they ran onto the ice pawing and digging at it trying to free you. "Cinder stop it's ok, I'm ok!" You called out cheerfully letting a laugh leave you. The purple pendent started to glow brighter then before, the ice surrounding you quickly melted sending Cinder into the now cold water. As their head popped back up from under the waves an agitated growl left them. "I'm sorry I'm sorry, but Cinder it worked!" You happily tackled them in the bath feeling excited in your new found ability. "I know this can be useful to him!"

Focusing on the water once again you watched as the pendent glowed once more. Cinder was now seated in the bath behind you, an annoyed expression plastered on their face. As the pendant glowed brighter the water started to return to its heated state, the steam bringing the sweet scent back into the air. Taking in a deep breath you were content with what you had just accomplished. Leaning back against Cinder you started humming the toon the old lady taught you.

"That's the travelers lullaby" a low voice interrupted your humming. As you looked to your side Sukuna was there, taking a seat next to you. "You're back?" You were happy at first till you remembered his words from before immediately killing your excitement. Turning away from him you felt embarrassed by your outburst but a hand landed softly on the back of your head. "You can worship me whenever you please, that's knowing your place minx" he seemed less agitated then before as you turned around to face him.

"We made an agreement didn't we?" His eyes stayed forward as he brought the warm water up and poured it over his shoulders bathing off what seemed like blood from his body. You were confused, digging through the recesses of your brain you remembered the deal you made with him. "I'll tell you when I'm done letting you use my body?" You questioned not sure if that was the agreement he was referring to or not. He hummed in agreement finally looking at you making a shiver roll up your spine when his eyes met yours "you've been acting different, more 'normal' I guess for your kind. Don't tell me you've already had enough?" He seemed annoyed that he even had to ask but their seemed to be a bit of worry in his voice to.

The wave of guilt washed over you harder then before as you realized what was happening "I want you to keep using me, I'm not done yet". A smirk plastered across Sukuna's face as he leaned back against Cinder with you letting the warm water soothe him. "That's what I wanted to hear" his hand came to your thigh gripping it tightly. Resting against Cinder again you continued to hum the rest of the song but your thoughts were running wild.. Sukuna doesn't understand what happiness is..
