Quirks. They were a pillar of power, the peak of human evolution. Each one wanted something more powerful, more useful. They wanted weapons and they would do anything to get their weapons. Whether it was going into a stranger's home at night, just to kidnap their 6-year-old daughter, or to force them to succumb to dreadful experiments. If you had a powerful quirk, good on you, someone wants to take it now. They want to steal what is not their own, and if they can’t? Force you to become a source of power for them, of course. It didn’t matter if the person was a hero or villain, at their roots, was the same issue.

But where were you? In all this hidden chaos that people convinced themselves it was over, where was the little girl that was hidden away? A little girl with an unimaginable quirk? Something that could be used in either villain or hero work? Who got to you first? “Subject 7629 show your ability.” A voice demanded over an intercom. It was male, you knew it well. After years of being trapped, you were familiar with everything. The pristine white walls, the tiled floors, the distinct smell of bleach…

Slowly a large door opened in front of you showing a large room. In the center was a stuffed animal. It didn’t seem normal, it had glowing eyes and watched you as you entered. Your overgrown (H/C) hair slightly started to float in the air as you held an intense gaze with the plush figure. Thoughts of others rung through your head easily. ‘She’s not moving…’ ‘Watch her carefully, she’s dangerous.’ Turning you pinpoint a glass barrier between you and some people in white coats. ‘She’s looking at us…’ The voices rang on repeat. You didn’t get anything else from them.

“Show us your quirk.” The voice on the intercom repeated. You complied. You always followed orders. Always did what you were told. Quickly the ground started to rumble and crack. Loosened bits of rock started to fly into the air all around you as the plushy stared back at you. Suddenly, the ripping noise of fabric sounded through the white room as stuffing started to soar out of the plush creature's head. Then as soon as the rumbling and tearing started, it stopped, leaving everything to fall to the ground with a crash. “Well done, Subject 7629. You may return to your room.” Normally, they would have an animal or something, but you guessed they wanted to see how you affected everyday objects.

As you turn around, the thoughts of the researchers echo through your head. ‘She’s almost ready.’ ‘On to the next test.’ ‘He will be happy with this turnout.’ All the information came to you at once. It wasn’t confusing though. It wasn't anymore. You have had the ability since you were young, very young. At night, you would cry because it wouldn’t be quiet at night. It was like everyone was yelling at you, at once. They just never shut up. Then you were taken, but that was a very long time ago. You stopped counting the days that passed. All you knew, was it was a while back. Now your once small body was near full height, at least that’s what you heard from the doctors. They mention a word too, one you were no longer familiar with it. Age. They said it in their heads, but never outloud. Nothing was really secret to you, you got your information one way or another. Words floated around you, coming from different people, leaving them as open as a book.

You could barely even talk when you were taken. Just cried and clung to people. You said a two words. “Stop! Quiet!” You would yell it as you were looked at like an animal. Nobody helped you, just looked and watched. That’s all they ever did. You just kept getting their feedback through their thoughts, making you screaming worse. They didn’t try to hide their thoughts either. Not like they could anyway. You could talk, but some words were lost on you. Trying to understand them resulted in more confusion, so you gave up, for the most part.

Slowly you have exited the room into the hallway you had entered from as a male pointed a gun at you. “You think you are better than us! Huh, freak!” He abruptly yelled at you. ‘She needs to be removed.’ his thoughts rang out. ‘She’s too powerful to control! I don’t know what Dr. Guraki was thinking! Now's my chance!’ Quickly the gun fired, but the bullet that came out froze mid-air. You stared at it and then looked towards the doctor. He was stunned, his head was silent in shock, and the bullet just mindlessly fell to the ground. Suddenly, the male stuttered back in fear of you. "N-no!"

“Another has tried to kill me.” You mindlessly spoke into the open air. Your throat felt dry and hoarse, yet your voice still sounded pristine. You said those word like it was a daily occurrence and it kinda was. Soon, the doctor was pulled out of your view and a guard blocked your view of what was happening. You could hear screaming though. His head was aflutter with thoughts.

“She’s a monster! You can’t-” A loud noise echoed through the hallway. It sounded like a gun, but you didn’t care if it was. The next noise was of something hard falling to the ground. 'He went insane.' you heard someone justify in their heads. 'The girl is still here?'

“To your room.” The guard in front of you said suddenly. Looking towards him, you nod and start down the hallway. It wasn't too as you reached your room and the electric door opened for you. The padded ground and single bed was what you came to every night. Laying on your bed you start to stare at the ceiling. Yawning you laid down completely and curled up, before closing your eyes. Dreamless sleep came to you soon after.
