There was always something missing from your fragmented heart. What was missing were your own emotions. You understood sadness the most. Grief was something omnipresent in your heart at all times. It was painful, but something you had to live with. Nobody can save you from yourself. The pictures of your family were a reminder of that grief. However, you had to move on. But you could never forget.
“So, Shinsou is with them right?” Mineta asked as the group walked through the pipes. You followed along as Mineta glanced toward you nervously. “And we got her? I’m kind of nervous. I don’t want to be brainwashed.”
“We just have to try not to get caught in his grasp,” Uraraka said. “The opposing team is comprised of members who can attack even if we can’t see them with the naked eye”
Three of the members quickly demonstrated their powers as you watched. Uraraka’s helmet floated in the air. Mina shot out acid and Mineta showed off his sticky balls. You stared at them, perplexed. ‘We’re at a disadvantage…’ All three grumbled within their minds.
“No one will get caught in it! Anyway, we just need to find and trap them.” Mina stated. “Maybe we could have (Y/N) mind control them!”
“I’ll be the scapegoat!” Midoriya said, jumping into view. “We also need to make sure that (Y/N) doesn’t talk and turn against us.”
“How are you feeling, though?” Mina asked. “You said you thought your quirk was acting strangely.”
“Yeah. There doesn’t seem to be anything different, just the same as usual.” Midoriya said. Multiple people. You could sense something within his mind. They were quiet and barely there. “After watching the fourth round, I feel like the opposing team is wary of us. We need to be even more vigilant!”
“All right! We’re counting on you, y’know?” Mineta said as you looked around the area. Nobody yet.
“I’ll be fine,” Midoriya said. “We’ll definitely win this.”
“You were just freaking out….” Mineta deadpanned as the females, excluding you, cheered. You weren’t supposed to talk anyway.
“The fifth round will be the last round today!” An intercom yelled as everyone prepared. “Are you ready!? Don’t lose your footing! Do your best until the end! Start!”
“Alright, (Y/N)! You’re the only stealthy person we have. Stay hidden and stay silent.” Midoriya said with a kind smile. “Protect everyone in our team.”
Your eyes slightly widened at his words before you gave a determined nod. Then, you disappeared from their eyesight as Midoriya bounded into the air. You floated above them, watching and waiting for anyone to strike against the leading group.
“Shinso’s close,” Mineta said, holding a string as he floated above the ground.
“I kinda wish I could’ve seen him say ‘Ahh’ with a bored expression,” Mina said, looking away from everyone.
“Please, look up at us when you’re talking.” Uraraka reminded as the string suddenly tightened.
“Think we caught something!” Mineta before objects were abruptly thrown at the group. You grabbed the items, holding them away as everyone started to flee.
“It’s Yanagi-San’s poltergeist!” Uraraka yelled as more objects flew toward them. A large barrel was then flung up into the air hitting you as you fell into a pipe. More pipes were sent towards you and everyone began to run.
“They’ve caught (Y/N)!” Mineta shouted as more things were flung to bury you against the pipe.
“Woah!” The group shouted as things shot into their faces with great power.
