She sighed. "Yes and before you get mad. My mother didn't pay the money in time because she has cancer. That's why I was in your father's room to see if he had any because she was gonna do surgery" She reached to meet my hand. "I thought he had money so I could pay off the surgery"
"You should of said that before. I'm sorry" I hugged her.
"You didn't know, it's okay" She replied. "So, why was you out there so long?"

"She's suppose to be by now. The last time I went to the hospital, they said it will take 1 month for her to recover"

I blushed. "Darren you know, we're not in a relationship"
"You don't know the future" He put his arm around me.
"Only God knows" I replied and smiled.
"I've been meaning to talk to you about that"

"I'm just happy!! I'll talk to the pastor for you"
