Hazel Routledge, twin sister to John B Routledge. Their mother had left them at early age and their dad had left to go to sea but he never returned. He had been missing for nine months and was presumed dead but the twins knew their father. He was a fighter. There uncle was supposed to be looking after them but he went to Chicago and the twins were left in outer banks.
They were pogues along with JJ Maybank, Kiara Carrera and Pope Heyward. The five of them all lived together on the not so rich side of town. But they didn't need to be rich to have fun.
Hazel was different from the other pogues. She didn't hate the kooks, in fact she was dating one. Hazel was dating Rafe Cameron, Ward Cameron's son. But their relationship wasn't as perfect as it seemed.
When Hazel wasn't surfing or taking photos with her friends she was working as a waitress at one of the local cafes. Hazel was was working most of the time so she could have money to go to college. She was the only pogue who wanted to go to college and get her degree.
