BLOOD MONEY [rosaria x reader]

< chapter eight >

A light beeping sounds slowly wakes you up to an almost blinding white light.
You look at your surroundings tubes and wires poke in and around, you to your left was.

"Rosaria?"
You ask

"Huh? Y/n! Are you alright?"
She replied almost jumping out of the chair she was sitting in.

"Yeah I'm fine my fingers really hurt"
You laugh Remembering the nights previous events.

"I'm sorry y/n.. it's my fault your in here"
Rosaria whispered holding your hand in hers

"Rosaria.. don't feel guilty I knew what I was getting into when I started this line of work"
You say sympathetic.

"I know it's just"
Rosaria paused her grip on your hand tightened.

"You mean a lot to me.. I don't want to see you get hurt"
You could see tears starting to form even though she did her best to hide them. You had never seen her cry before much less show that much emotion.

"Rosaria.. I'm fine really it's not your fault"
You say trying to sooth her

"I know I just.. I feel guilty okay"
Rosaria perked her head up

"I'm glad your okay"
She finished with a tearful smile.

A few days had passed since you were first admitted to the hospital, finally able to leave your wounds mostly healed.

"Y/n? You ready to go"

"Yeah let's head out"
You say grabbing the bags rosaria packed for you

You hop in her car sitting next to rosaria in the back seat.
Maybe it was the pain meds you were on but you could barely keep your eyes open you'd drift in and out finally falling asleep on rosaria's shoulder.

"Y/n? Wake up we're here"
Rosaria spoke waking you up, you did your best to keep your eyes closed pretending to still be asleep.
Rosaria sighed defeated she picking you up in her arms and carried you back inside.

"There you go"
She said dropping you on the couch and throwing a blank at you.
She plopped down beside you before grabbing the remote and flipping through Netflix.

"What do you wanna watch?"
She asked

"I don't care, anything"
You groan to tired to think

"Hmm how about this?"
Rosaria said flipping on a random movie

"Sure"
You said not even looking at the movie

She pressed play and the movie started, it was probably an action movie based on all the gun shots you heard.
about half way in you felt your self growing more tired.
You snuggle close to rosaria your head resting on her chest, she wrapped her arms around you as you dozed off once again.
