You heard a knock at your door so you got up from the couch to see who it was.

And as you expected it was Lev. He usually went to your house or the other way around so that you could help him pass his exams.

Not only were you one year older than him, you were also in college prep classes.

"Hey, Lev. You ready to start studying?" You asked.

He looked unhappy, but he nodded his head anyway. "Sure, I guess." He came inside, almost hitting his forehead with the top of the door frame.

"Ouch," he rubbed his forehead.

You raised both eyebrows as he followed you to the living room. He sat on the ground, putting his books on the coffee table while you sat on the couch.

"Exams are coming up, are you excited?" You sarcastically asked.

Lev showed a face of disgust. "Who would be excited for exams?" You nodded, "so true."

"Oh yeah, where's your mom?" He asked, looking around.

You raised an eyebrow. "Working. What about you?" You asked back."uhm, my mom?"

Lev shrugged, a little confused with your question. "Aw man, this is boring."

"Okay, well you better do well if you want to go to this weeks training camp." You said, looking at the study books and sheets he brought.

Once you opened up a page for him to solve, you hopped back onto the couch and looked around at your phone.

There were a few minutes of silence and a few minutes of Lev complaining about some questions.

He side eyed you.

"Yn? Are you drooling over akaashi's text messages or something?"

Your mouth gaped. You were quick to shake your head 'no'.

"When we went to fukurodani for practice games, you couldn't stop looking at him. Like who's team were you on?" He rolled his eyes. "I bet you have a crush on him." Lev concluded.

You shrugged. "Maybe it's just a small one. Not too serious. I just think he's pretty,"

"—pretty cool." You finished.

"If I become ace, will I be cool?" Lev asked, face gleaming.

Again, you shrugged. "Maybe if you pass this test, you will."

He groaned, ignoring you as you lied down on the couch, practically holding your phone up.

"You're gonna drop your phone on your nose someday." Lev warned you. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever."
