I Danced with The Devil (Etho x Beef)

Beef's POV

I woke up, my death? How did it go? I don't remember...

A boy walked towards me with a scythe in hand. He spoke.

"Are you VintageBeef?"

"Yes? What happened?"

"You died"

"How? How did I die?"

"Look"

I look around in the pile of rubble I am standing in, I saw my body next to me, out of instinct I yelped. The blood dripped off my lifeless body, I looked down and saw I wasn't touching ground. I felt a wave of sadness wash over me as I stared at my souless body.

"It's a lot to process, I know"

I heard the man say, I shifted my view to him. He had brown hair and wore a bright red jumper. A cloak was draped over him and held a scythe in his left hand.

"Y-yea I suppose"

"It's okay, you'll forget eventually"

"Will I?"

"Once you meet the boss, he'll make you forget, if you ask"

"If I ask?"

"Yes, ask the Boss and he'll erase that memory for you"

"Wait so am I going to heaven"

"Uhh, well..."

"Oh... I see"

"Yep, sorry but heaven was over thrown about like a million years ago"

"Wait so is hell filled with torture and stuff?!"

"What? No, of course not, who the fuck told you that?"

"Uh like, everybody!"

"Well it's not hell, more just like afterlife"

"Oh, got it"

"Well, are you ready to go?"

"Can I take one last look around?"

"Sure"

The man let me wander for a moment. I looked at the bridge, and sighed. Is this the last time I'll see the sunset? I suppose. I took a deep breath in and  breathed out. So I spoke.

"I hate it here"

"Sooo you wanna go?"

"Yea lets go"

The Reaper swung his scythe towards me and I found myself in an empty room with a bed, it was bland, what terrible choice for room decour. It only had one window that opened out to the world.

"Where am I?"

I didn't get an answer, good I'm alone.

I got up and walked to the window and I was shocked at what I saw.

A beautiful sunset and the sky turned purple, the clouds a light lavender. The waterfalls dripped into the ocean from floating pieces of land in the sky. I heard a door open and I spun around. A white haired man was in the door way. He was wearing a black mask and a black turtle-neck with a green vest over it.

"Hey welcome to the afterlife"

"Oh, that's where I am"

"Well it's also a different dimension, many don't know that"

The man walked towards me, and spoke again.

"But of course, it can be whatever you want it to be"

I felt myself blush, DAYUM HES SO CUTE. I spoke again

"So, uh, who designed this room"

"Don't like it?"

"I don't mean to come off as picky but it's not the best decouration"

"Would it make you happy if I tell you that you can decorate it however you want?"

"WAIT, REALLY?!"

"Yea, however you want, you can even expand it without interfering with other rooms"

"Other rooms?"

"Yea you are currently in an apartment building"

"Woah thats really cool"

"I know right?"

"Did you design it?"

"Uhh well"

I could see a blush on the man's face as he rubbed the back of his neck

"Well you did an amazing job"

He went crimson red and began to talk about something else.

"So, what's your name?"

"Beef, what's yours?"

"Etho, but everyone calls me Satan or The Devil because I run the afterlife"

"W-wait, SATAN?!"

"Oh, don't be alarmed, I'm not Satan, I'm just another one of those celestial beings that were told to build the afterlife for those who aren't bad but aren't necessarily good either"

"Oh, right"

"Yea"

"But, Etho is a beautiful name"

"W-well"

He blushed again as he looked out the window.
He spoke once again.

"Th-theres gonna be a ball tonight at my friend's house, would you like to go?"

"Of course, just give me the adress and then I'll head there"

"Wondeful"
