I am a wolf who howls.
I wonder when I will eat next.
I hear the yips of playful pups.
I see the trees begin to vanish.
I want to keep my pack safe.
I am a wolf who howls.I pretend I'm not afraid.
I feel the crunching leaves give way to pavement.
I touch my mate's flank in reassurance.
I worry for my family's safety.
I cry when a pup yips no more.
I am a wolf who howls.I understand that man thinks they're better.
I say that this is not right.
I dream to one day live without fear of mans' machines.
I try to keep living in this world.
I hope for a better tomorrow.
I am a wolf who howls.
