CHAPTER 29

He walked towards me. "Let's pretend that we have a relationship," then sat beside me.

Umayos naman ako ng upo.

"We'll make everyone in this school believe that we have a relationship. In that way, scandals about us will stop. Everyone will think that those awkward situations we did is because of love," he continued.

"So ang ibig mong sabihin, out of love 'yong nakadagan ako sa'yo at ang ulo ko ay nasa bandang ilalim ng tiyan mo na parang- alam mo na? At, out of love 'yong nag-kissed tayo habang nakahiga sa semento at nasa ibabaw mo ako?... Haler?! Ok ka lang?"

Tinampal niya ako noo, "Are you not thinking? We can explain to them about that situation. I have a good reputation in this school so only those stupid persons will believe that we did those things... I was referring to our first scandal, stupid!"

"Kung maka-stupid naman parang 'di ako scholar sa school na 'to... Kasalanan mo kasi. Hinalik-halikan mo pa ako, tuloy nagka-scandal tayo."

"Aba't- nakakadalawa ka na ah," tinampal ba naman ulit ako sa noo.

"Aba't-kapal naman ng apog mo," sabay palo sa balikat nito.

"Saka, don't put the blame on me kasi mas na-trigger ang scandal na 'yon because of you. Kung 'di mo ba naman p-in-ost 'yong mga pictures natin sa FB n'ong nasa Baguio tayo at sinulatan ng "Happy to spend my Valentine's Date in Baguio", sana 'di na naging komplikado ang lahat."

Nanlaki ang mga mata ko sa sinabi nito, "Valentine's Date?! Anong Valentine's Date ka d'yan? Valentine's Day kaya ang sinulat ko d'on."

"Check your FB nang malaman mo."

Agad ko namang kinuha ang CP ko sa bag at binuksan ang FB ko using free data connection.

Kahit hindi new model ang CP ko, may internet at WiFi naman ito kahit papaano.

'Oh my gosh!' napanganga ako sa nakita.

I looked at him and gave him a fake smile. "Typo error, he-he-he...."

"Tsk... So what do you think? Are you with me or not?"

No choice na kaya...

"I'm in!" at tinaas pa sa ere ang isang kamay.

"But we should have a rule."

"Ano?"

"NO ONE, even our parents and closest friend, will know about this. It is just between the two of us. And if one of us break this rule, he or she shall suffer the consequences that will be given by the other."

"Deal."

"Deal."

At nagkamay kami.

"So kailan mag-sisimula ang pagpapanggap na 'to?" Ako.

"Tomorrow. So better prepare yourself sa ano mang pwedeng mangyari simula bukas." He stood up, "I'll go ahead first. I have to do some stuff for the preparation for tomorrow."

"Teka!" aalis na sana ito nang tawagin ko.

I walked towards him. "Kahit peke ba ang relationship na 'to," huminga muna ako ng malalim bago nagsalita, "Kailangan parin ba nating gawin 'yong... alam mo na... 'y-yong ginagawa ng magkasintahan?"

'Hoo! Pinagpawisan ako sa tanong na 'yon ah.'

"It depends when it's needed."

I smiled. "Ok... Don't worry 'pag ginawa natin 'yon, walang problema sa akin. Kahit araw-araw pa itong kailangan."
