"hey bug," i said and hoisted kari up for a hug.

"hi mama!" she exclaimed.

"gimme some sugas." she kissed my cheek which i returned, lord knowns i missed my baby.

"gone and put your things away." i told her and she grabbed her bag from quez before running into the house.

"everything good?" he asked me.

"yeah, why?" i asked as a laugh followed.

he shrugged, "ion know, you look good though."

"thank you, i feel good. how's the new baby?" i asked him.

"he's good, he should be hea soon." he told me.

"well i'm happy for you," i told him and gave him a small tap on his shoulders.

"we could still have another lil one," he said with his signature sweet smile.

"don't do that." i mumbled and looked down at my feet.

"let me go get kari, so she can say bye." i walked into the house and took a deep breath.

"kari come say bye to daddy," i told her.

"coming mama," she got up from the floor and we walked back outside.

i watched the two of them exchange see you later's before we watched his car pull off.

"you have fun?" i asked kari as we made it back inside.

"yeah, daddy buy me more toys and a doll baby." she told me with a huge grin on her face.

"spoiled ain't even the word." i said and shook my head.

"no i not," she said and laughed.

"okay girl, you hungry?" i asked her.

"mmm, yeah. we get mcdonalds?" she asked.

"i meant something to eat from the kitchen, but you lucky i want mcdonalds too." i said which made her sprint back to her shoes and slipping them onto her feet.
