Humblburg was the name of the airport Sam was in, this morning she got a text from her brother telling her that her granny is sick and she wants to see her. Waiting in the airport thinking about her grandma. It's been a while since she went back home. She loved her small town but her bad memories ruined it, ever since she left town the first time she never came back. She never had enough courage to go back there. The same town that her dad left her in, the same town the guy that she thought was the lover of her life left her in, the town that her best and only friend Maya left her in and now her grandma is leaving too. She was not ready to say goodbye, easily not around her wedding, she hasn't told anyone that she's going home. She didn't want a distraction, she just wanted to see her grandma, growing up with her dad leaving them, her mother went through ups and downs, so the person that took care of them when her mother was at her lowest was her Grandma. She was there for them when no one else was, she was the first person she would go to if she had a problem, but when she moved into New York their relationship got weaker and weaker with time. She got busy with writing and exploring new things that she forgot she had a family back home. Her brother was the only person that is still in touch with her, her mother got married again and had a new kid so she also didn't have the time to call ether. They still call each other every once and a while. She takes out her laptop and starts typing random things hoping she would get some good ideas and distract herself with writing, she kept writing and writing but yet nothing came. They start calling for her plane. She takes her stuff and gets on the airplane. She loved the seat next to the window. She loved admiring the sky. She always barges with whoever is sitting in that seat in exchange of anything she has. A chocolate bar, a bag of chips, soda. Literally anything. This time thankfully her seat was already next to the window. "Can I please give you this candy in exchange if us switching seats, it's really good I got it from Switzerland, believe me, it's worth it" a strange woman asks, "nice one, I saw it on the machine in the airport. but sure." Sam says, maybe this time she can let her seat go, this woman lied just to get it, she probably needs it more. Plus one of Sam"s biggest flats is that she never learned to say no. "I'm Meghan by the way," says the woman "nice to meet you, Meghan, I'm Samantha but you can call me Sam," the woman notices the engagement ring on Sam's hand, how can it not be noticeable, it was the biggest diamond a person can ever find. "Engaged or married?" Megan asks "engaged," says sam but with no smile on her face. "Why aren't you happy?" Asks Meghan wondering why a woman would want to get married if she wasn't happy about it. "It's really complicated and it's a long story you wouldn't want to hear it," says sam "common tell me we still have another two hours till we arrive and we have nothing else to do," Sam hesitates at first but then she remembers that she is a stranger she might not see ever again in her life, what bad thing might happen? Plus it would make her feel better if she takes some of the weight out of her shoulders. "Is it wrong if you started having feelings for a man who isn't fiancee" then sam starts telling her the entire story starting from the day she wrote the letter to Adam till the day she made the cake, "wow you're going to make that cake your wedding cake? That's pretty messed up?" says Megan. "Yeah it is but you can't blame me," says Sam, and if you think about it. It's not Sam false. She didn't do anything. Even when she baked that cake she took a step back and realized what she was doing before she did it. Which means she's out of the woods. "Wow wouldn't you look at that, we are landing. It was nice to see you. I hope everything goes well with you and your fiancee, just don't forget to listen to your heart first" says Megan not sure if she is ever going to meet Sam again. "I really hope that too, nice to meet you too," says Sam
