I woke up the next morning, to find Azula trying to climb out of her crib. That's not going to be fun. "What are you doing my little money?" I asked her as I walked into the room. She stopped trying to climb and gave me her innocent face. "I saw you, you little stinker. Let's change your bum." I teases as I picked her up. "I love you."

"Momma!" Azula replied as I laid her down on the changing table to change her diaper.

I made her breakfast, got her dressed and managed to brush her hair. "You are getting a haircut next week little lady." I replied as I put a ponytail in it. It was so long when I uncurled it. My poor kid got my hair.

It was raining out, so we were staying in. I pulled out her toys to play with her in the living room. She loves her musical toys and any toy that made noise or has a mirror. I enjoy telling her about the different toys and making them make noise with her. I teach her nursey songs as we play.

A knock on the door, distracted me from singing 'the itsy-bitsy spider'. I put down the toy and went to open the door. Sasuke was standing on my front step under an umbrella holding two packages of diapers. "Are these the ones you were talking about?" He asked.

"Yeah. Didn't mean for you to get them. I was just giving you information for your note asked for." I replied.

"Can I come in?"

"I'd rather you didn't. You need to stop showing up here, my neighbor's will start to notice." I pointed out.

"Why'd you lie to Sakura?"

"What?"

"Can I come in out of the rain? You don't want your neighbors to see, but you won't let me in. That makes no sense." I rolled my eyes at him and step aside. He closed up his umbrella and took off his shoes. "Last night, Sakura said she asked you for your number."

"For her pig of a friend. I told her no." I huffled.

"You also told her that my mother lies, then proceeded to lie to her yourself. I wasn't the only guy you've ever slept with." He stated.

"Did you tell her we used to hook up?" I pressed looking at him.

"No. She asked if I knew you, I said a bit and that our families used to be close. Then she asked if what my mother said about you was true and I told her no. When she asked if it was true that you only had one partner, which I told her I wasn't sure on that, but I do know you well enough to know my mother was just making things up. So, why did you lie?" He explained.

"Why do you think I lied?" I asked flatly going back up the stairs.

"Wait. Karin, don't walk away from me." He groaned.

"My daughter is waiting for me to go back to play time. If I don't return soon, she'll start a meltdown of thinking I left. It's not a fun time." I replied.

"Can I . . . Can I come up to see her?" He asked hesitantly.

"Sure. I'll just close my shades." I replied walking up the stairs. I unlocked the gate and stepped in, followed by him. I quickly went and closed the blinds to my living room so nosy people can't see in. "Just sit and play with the toys." I explained. I got a ehiff of her diaper. "Ugh. Sticker butt what did aunty Ino feed you for dinner last night?" I asked picking her up and bringing her into her room. I quickly changed her diaper and brought her back out. "Sorry, but that rancid." I explained to him.

"It's okay." He took an awkward seat on the floor. Azula remained in my lap as she handed me toys. He tried to hand her a toy, but she turned away to look up at me.

"She doesn't know you. Give her a few minutes, she'll warm up." I told him. "Look, Azula a red horn. Can you say red?"

"Geen!" Azula shouted. I laughed.
