I took all the dishes, placed them on the sink, then began washing them and the few seconds of washing the dishes was boring and I was just playing some random songs in my head but it didn't feel as exciting as actually listening to one, then from behind I heard music being played
Thank god for Quill! He just read my mind!
Quill was playing one of my favourite songs, Got To Be Real by Cheryl Lynn, I started singing along to the song as well as grooved and danced too, I looked behind me and I saw Quill also dancing, as I continued washing the dishes Groot hopped on the counter
"I am Groot" the little said as well as pointed to a jar of cookies
"But you just had pancakes for breakfast" I chuckled and Groot pouted, I rolled my eyes and gave in and handed him a cookie "Here you go, little buddy. Now scram before anybody notices you eating a cookie" he then hurried to get off the counter and ran off somewhere

When I was finally done doing the dishes I turned and I happened to glanced over to Nebula who looking at me, then it quickly turned into a glare and she paced off to the control room of the ship "C'mon guys! We're about to make 5 jumps to get to Xandar" Quill yelled out and I made my way to where everyone was
I took my usual seat which was in between Mantis and Drax, today Mantis seems particularly more happier than before "You seem happy today, what got up your mood?" I asked and Mantis grinned
"Drax has been teaching my stuffs like how ugly and disgusting I am" Mantis explained cheerfully and I looked at her all confused, I turned to Drax and smacked him on the arm which made him flinched and peered over to me
"Tell me you didn't just smacked on my beautiful muscled arm" Drax said and I rolled my eyes
"Oh yes, I did! Why would you tell Mantis she's ugly and disgusting?!" I whispered yelled at him and I don't know why I began whispering
"Have you looked at her? She is ugly and disgusting!" the muscular guy said once more and I sighed and mentally facepalmed myself, I turned to Mantis and told her that she wasn't ugly or disgusting and that she's beautiful and well maintained, then all of a sudden she turned gloomy and sad
Wait, what?? I'm pretty at what I said was suppose to make anyone happy, what the heck did I do?!?
After we made 5 jumps, we eventually arrived at Xandar and landed right beside their military base, I got out of my seat and told them that I was going to get my cloak from my room, I ran and grabbed the black cloak that was on my bed and ran back to them before getting out of the ship

We were then greeted by Irani Rael, otherwise known as the Nova Prime to her position in the Nova Corps "Welcome back, Guardians Of The Galaxy, great to see that you have arrived here safely"
"It was nothing honestly, we were told that you have a mission for us?" Quill asked and the Nova Prime nodded and told us to follow her to the table
"My mission for you all is to capture this man" she then showed us an image of the guy
"Oh god"
"That bastard!" Nebula and I said in the same time, we both looked at each other, I looked at her with a questioning and awkwardly expression while she had a glaring expression as usual
"You two know this guy?" Gamora asked
"Yes" me and Nebula said simultaneously
"How?" the Nova Prime asked
"That bastard blasted me when I was on a mission and still working for Ronan thus not getting the item Ronan wanted me to get" Nebula hissed
"And you?" the Xandarian woman pointed at me
"I uh...used to work...for him-well more likely his father and when his father passed his son, Harland, his father's death was my only escape, but that had to be postpone as he ended keeping a close eye on me, he's not just a pretty guy, so do not underestimate his, he's stronger than he looks"

Quill took a better look of the imagine "He is pretty good looking...but I'm still more handsome" Drax and Rocket both laughed at Quill's statement and he just rolled his eyes
"Good looking my ass!" Rocket said sarcastically and laughed
"You look like a turd that's been left out for days!" Drax added
"Do you think you know where they are right now?" the Nova Prime and I shook my head
"No, they don't stay in one place for too long" I replied and the woman nodded
"Alright then, that would be your mission for now, bring him here when you do capture him" we all nodded, she announced that we could leave and we were escorted out and back to the ship
As we were getting on the ship, Nebula and Mantis were behind me and the other were in front of me, then I heard a small yelp behind me, I turned around and spotted that Mantis had tripped but managed to grab onto Nebula at time
I noticed Mantis's antennas glowing which meant she felt what Nebula was feeling "You want to stay with us, you care about us even though you look stone cold...you feel passion and great comfort towards-"
I dashed in and covered Mantis's mouth preventing her to stay anything else and got her away from Nebula before she could do anything, given the fact that she dislikes most of us and even though Mantis said that she cares about it doesn't mean she can't do anything and except that person Mantis was about to say
Thankfully, the other had already gone somewhere inside and we sprinted to my room and that was when I uncovered her mouth "You better be thankful that I grabbed you away when I had the chance, she could've killed you there" I then noticed again that her antennas were glowing again
"You respect everyone on this ship and for other people too as we have become your family...and you seem to lik-" then I cut her off
"Don't say it, Mantis...not yet, at least...I'm still trying to really figure that one out...and you telling me about it might be the easy way out...I'm still thinking about, okay?" Mantis nodded her "Good, you can go" she was about to leave when she stopped and looked at me
"(Y/n), why did you not want me to tell who Nebula likes?" she asked and I chuckled
I shouldn't be judging, she hasn't had enough social interaction to know these things
"Because...maybe she doesn't want to tell anyone yet...or she might not even know she likes this particular person, but either way, it should be her to say it" I explained and she seemed to have understand it
"Okay, I get it" the she left and I closed my door, pressing my back on the door
Nebula has passion and feels comfort towards someone...does that mean she likes someone? If that's so then...I wonder who?
