"You asked whether we've met before and I answered no, we haven't. Well, I don't believe we have cause I'm would've remembered you"

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to say that out loud" I nervously chuckled
"It's alright, really" and there it goes again! The moment we made eye contact her eyes shimmered like a sunset! I don't know if she's doing this purposely or not, but it's making it harder for me to focus on what I'm supposed to say rather than just stare at her, it makes me look like a complete creep!

"Um, what can I help you with again?" she questioned
"Well... I uhh...I'm here to welcome you to the neighbourhood! I know it's a little late to say that since you've moved here for a month ago and-" I paused when I noticed the woman in front of me became a little tense and her facial expression turned a bit worried
"Oh no, no, no! I didn't mean it like that!" I exclaimed and sighed knowing that I've totally messed this up really bad "Okay, my name is Angelina and my daughter is Vivienne, I believe you have met her because she had spoken fondly of you as she also a friend of your nephew; Jackson"
She fluttered her eyes and relaxes when I told her about Vivienne "Oh! Yes, I know her! I met her yesterday when I came to pick up Jackie! Name's (Y/n) by the way! (Y/n) (L/n)!" she pulled her hand out and I shook it
"Oh here! I came to give you this" I handed the box of chocolate
"You shouldn't have! Do you want to come in? I can make you some coffee or something-Oh are you allergic to dogs? I have a dog inside" (Y/n) offered and asked me a question about something I would be concerned about
"Sure and no, I'm not allergic to dogs"
"Okay then! Come in, feel free to sit anywhere in the living room while I make some coffee" I stepped inside her house and the environment of her house is very calming, cozier than I had expected, there were a couple of plants here in there making it feel more at home
