i walked to school alone today. i didn't even feel like coming. it was parent teacher conference day. i have no parent to come for me.

in class, we received our grades. i got all a's, i was 3rd best in the whole school. i pat myself on my back.

i feel numb. i thought i'd be happy to do good in school. especially after they always forced me to act dumb. it's all the same, though, if i'm alone.

i sighed and prepared to leave for the day.

one absence never hurt anyone.

as i walked to my locker i heard screaming in the lunchroom.

"oh my god! hey, lee suho! your dad is lee juheon?"

holy sh—

"what? the celebrity?"

"yeah, the celebrity lee juheon!"

"wow! oh my god!"

"what... what are you talking about?"

chaos, it was utter chaos in school. all because of suho's father.

i was about to continue walking away when suho walked into me at the lunchroom doors.

"sorry...?"

i don't even know why i apologized. he bumped into me.

he continued walking away.

"suho. can we talk?"

i bet he didn't even think about stopping. he left without hardly breathing.

why is he acting like a jerk again?

i left to my locker, took out my stuff and left.

gowoon asked to meet up with jugyeong and i. she probably should've only asked to meet jugyeong, though. i'm not too good with makeup.

"i feel a little better now that i've has something high-calorie."

"me too!" i lied.

"thanks, go woon."

"i wanted to treat you to something more delicious."

"this is totally fine!"

"right, we don't deserve this. it's too much."

"because your mouth is so filthy, i figured we needed to wash it!" gowoon imitated us, "since i warned you last time... your. worst. nightmare."

jugyeong looked shocked.

gowoon giggled, "remember when you guys said that? i was so thankful on that day and at the festival, too, unnies."

"it's good to see you look so bright."
