Location: NOID Headquarters

The ONI was phased out due to corruption and replaced with the NOID, New Orderian Intelligence Division, it will assume all jobs of the ONI, and will be directly partnered with the NOSD, New Orderian Security Division, NOID will take the role of training investigators, negotiations, and will oversee large scale counter terror operations. Any ministries operating under the ONI such as RCM and SRM will also be taken into NOID.

At this point it was announced officially that New Orderia was in a civil war. Previously it was just a terrorist movement but due to the extent the NOID declared it an attempt to overthrow the government. NATO forces arrived on the 4th to aid in reclaiming the city of Dalnax which remains the only city to completely fall to the insurgents.

Location: Malask city

A team of NOID SWAT agents, SECDIV SWAT officers, MCPD ESU officers, NOHP troopers, NOMCMPD(transit police) and NOMCPAPD(port authority police) officers stood in a parking lot to the cities police headquarters. Behind them were multiple armored SWAT trucks, APCs, and patrol cars from the different departments.

Agent: Listen up, we are going to raid over 50 locations across Malask today, another team will be raiding over 30 in the capital. Things will be chaotic and odds are they insurgents won't go peacefully. You are being trusted to protect your nation. This operation will capture those responsible for previous terror attacks in the region. The insurgents responsible for the battle of New Orderlands are among those we will be raiding. Stick with your team, keep your head on a swivel, and stay alive. You all have your orders, good luck, you are all dismissed.

The officers and agents got into their vehicles and started going in convoys to the target locations. Transit and Port police moved to stop escape by train, sea, or bus. NOHP units set up checkpoints on the highways leading out of the city and set up concrete barriers to stop anyone trying to blow past them.

Location: 78th and Davis, Malask city industrial district.

Radio: 2-Adam-9, 10-13, officer down. We walked into an ambush. Multiple barricaded suspects in a warehouse.

Radio: 10-4, ESU be advised, suspects have already fired on police officers. Suspects barricaded inside a warehouse. We need a negotiator to 78th and Davis for barricaded suspect.

Radio: NOID negotiation team en route, ETA 10 minutes.

The officers on scene exchanged fire with the suspects inside while the armored ESU truck rolled up. A group of ESU officers climbed out while ESU snipers got into position. An ESU team moved up with shields with firefighters behind them to treat and evacuate the injured officer.

Radio: Medic 10 to dispatch, requesting airmed to my location, 1 officer injured, 8 GSWs to left side of chest and left arm. Victim is barely stable.

Radio: 10-4, MCPD helicopter being redirected. ETA 3 minutes.

The negotiators got on scene and began trying to talk the suspects into surrendering without further violence. At the same time the police helicopter airlifted the injured officer to the nearest hospital.

One of the suspects came poked his head out of a door leading to the roof and started walking towards the edge with a sniper rifle. The ESU snipers saw this and fired two shots bringing him down. His friend opened the door and was also shot by the police snipers. After another 45 minutes of no talk the NOID negotiators decided to go with a new strategy.

Radio: Negotiators requesting one combat engineering vehicle with pumps to 78th and Davis. We also need a large shipment of tear gas to the same location.

Radio: 10-4, ETA 30 minutes.

The standoff continued with the occasional burst of gunfire being fired at the officers. Another two officers had been injured and taken to the hospital by the fire department medics. Across the city similar situations played out. Long standoffs with suspects. In many cases ESU and NOSD SWAT teams breached the buildings quickly and ended it fast. Those teams were then sent on other raids to continue the operation.

The FDMC was also busy the entire day. With so many gunfights between police and insurgents the firefighters and paramedics were constantly responding to another call about a suspect or, much rarer, officer shot. Occasionally a civilian would be injured and in 2 cases the suspects resorted to committing arson on the buildings they were in. This resulted in the use of MRAPs converted to have water cannons being used for the third time in New Orderian history. The first was when a dirty bomb was found in a burning building. The second was a series of riots the military had to handle.

Finally after hours of standoff the CEV APC arrived with its gas pump. It was hooked up to the tear gas hoses and it rammed a nozzle into the upper floor of the building. The gas quickly spread and soon enough the insurgents surrendered to the police officers.

Multiple pursuits, raids, and gunfights later the operation was completed. It was a near complete success. Only thee civilians were injured which when fighting an enemy that will take and execute hostages any time they get the chance that is relatively good. One officer did pass away from his injures. He was the officer ambushed on 78th and Davis and he passed away in the hospital two days after being shot due to complications caused by a bullet bursting his appendix.

Multiple former ONI agents were found and arrested during the raids proving the severity of the corruption in the office. Multiple insurgent leaders were later given the death penalty after going through trial for their crimes including the dispersal of the SA virus on 5 cities including Vale and their attempts to release it in 8 more including the capital. The deaths caused by these insurgents was over 1 million.
