Gabby's POV: When Matt told me to call Antonio and tell him to get Louie ready so Matt could bring him home, I was confused. "Matt, slow down and talk to me. What's wrong?" Matt just looked at me. "Your dad just told me that he was just at Antonio's place. He didn't provide a negative COVID test, and he was mask-less the entire time." Looking at him when he said that, I was shocked. "What?!?" Matt nodded when I said that. "So, I am going to get him and bring him home where he is going to be safe with us as he quarantines. Oh and my sister is there too."
I just shook my head when he said that. "Can you wait for me to finish feeding them? I am going to go too." Matt just looked at me. "And risk you being exposed...risk the twins being exposed? Not a chance Gabby! I am sorry but when it comes to this, I need to put my foot down. You and the twins are staying here. That is why we moved back here...so we would be safe from COVID." I nodded when he said that and agreed with what he was saying. "Here, let me call Antonio and make sure he's there before you leave." Matt nodded when I said that.
Going to grab my phone, I watched as Matt sat down next to me. Hitting Antonio's number from my speed dial, I went to put it on speakerphone. Antonio then answered. "Hey guys, you calling to check on Louie?" Matt then went to speak first. "No, we are calling to ask why you thought it was okay to let Ramon into your house while he wasn't wearing a mask!" Antonio got scared when Matt said that. "How did you hear about that?" I just shook my head. "Dad was just here to try and see the twins. Antonio, what were you thinking with COVID!"
Matt then looked at me. "Don't yell at him over the phone. I am going to do that when I am there. Antonio, pack Louie up...I am coming over and I am taking him home. And we are going to talk about this when I am there to pick him up. If he argues about it...you tell him a lie to say that you need to go to work and so does Christie or something. I am not going to be the bad guy in this situation when you are the reason he has to come home!" Antonio sighed when Matt said that but understood. "Of course Matt, we will figure something out."
I agreed with him when he said that. "You have 15 minutes. When I am there, I am picking him up and then we are leaving. I am not in the mood to talk to you when you possibly exposed our son to COVID! Who knows what your dad has been doing during the pandemic? Sorry to say this guys but I don't really trust that he has been the safest when it comes to possibly not coming into contact with COVID!" I looked at Matt when he said that and nodded because I honestly felt the same way. I love my dad but he was not somebody I trusted with COVID.
Matt then went to get up and went to grab his wallet. "You want anything while I'm out?" I shook my head when he asked me that. "Antonio, I will be there in 15. Talk soon." Walking about the bed, Matt then leaned over me and smiled as he went to kiss me softly. "I love you." He then went to kiss Hannah's head as well as Gabriel's forehead. "Just leave them both here. I am going to cuddle up to my little guy when I am back okay?" I nodded and smiled at him when he said that. "Just take deep breaths and relax okay?" Matt nodded and agreed.
Walking out of our bedroom, Matt left the apartment shortly after to go get Louie.
